Final Fantasy Origins : What goes around, comes around.
finally the FFI and FFII remake remakes have been confirmed for an American release, both on the alledgedly one disk "Final Fantasy Origins." you can expect to see new FMVs and Anthology like Galleries and special features on the disk as well, when it reaches the US around April time on your Playstation 1.
A PAL (Europe - Australia / New Zealand) release is not confirmed, but given the release of FF6 and FF Anthology Europe, they may well end up on store shelves after a suitably painful ammount of time. (and by the way, they are "remake remakes" because the core game was already released on the wonderswan - a handheld console not available outside of Japan. This lead to the idea that we would see FFI-III on the gameboy) (and another thing, FFII is the real FFII (also known as FF2j) which will mean that its technically an entirely new final fantasy to the American public - ie. this is not Cecil and Kain have fun with Crystals and Spoony Bards. this is Frionel, Maria and Guy search for Leonheart after almost getting killed by some evil knights!)
