Spring time and Awakenings
Good idea. I mean... it's spring time again and all and mother nature is awakening to invite us to get out and enjoy her beauty. For me spring is a time of awakenings. It's technically been spring for about a month. As nature has continued to wake up more and more, what have you all done to get out and experience awakenings with the earth? I mean how have you enjoyed the outdoors so far? If you have anything you feel you may have experienced spiritually, please feel free to add that as well. Is a part of you awakening, too?

Normally I don't like going outside (I'm a hermit ) but because of work, I have to drive about 20 minutes to get there. During the drive, I see the spring rebirth of the trees and the flowers and their growth little by little each day...this is somewhat "new" to me because I never actually took the time to pay attention to nature in general; how, no matter what they go through, whether harsh weathers or something else, they follow their set routine/life cycle always...on time and without delay. It's somewhat startling to me and I think it gives me the strength(?) to follow my dreams and to pursue it no matter what may come my way.
......On the downside though, I get major hay fever during the spring, so whilst driving and appreciating nature, my eyes get itchy and I'm sneezing like no other, so I'm kinda cursing at spring at the same time, hehe. Gotta love the pollen!

We're having a rainy spring this year. This means no hay fever, but not many occasions to enjoy natural beauties as well. My cats are happy though. They don't mind rain.

My mood certainly picks up a lot when it's lighter in the evenings, but in a way now it just reminds me of how things were different years ago, and stamps in to me thoughts about how isolated I'm beginning to become. Choices, choices.

I haven't done anything to enjoy mother nature. Honestly, I think she's gonna come back and bite me in the ass for that too. (Seeing that I don't trust severe thunderstorms.... >_>) As far as awakenings for me.... Nadda... Unless you count sarcasm, mellow-ness as an awakening?

I've sat in my garden with a bottle of heineken, enjoying my garden and all the little animals inside it and when the night falls looking at the little bats hovering my garden for insects. I love the outdoors, you won't find me behind a console when the sun is shining(we have a long winter for that overhere).
