E-Bay
I want to bid for a memory card on E-Bay.
Do i have to have a credit card ? When i sign up will i be able to use my mums credit card without her noticing?. It wont automatically charge any items to the card will it?. Because i plan on sending money through the post.

No, it doesn't charge to your credit card. Check out the item description and the seller should say "methods of payments". Sending a money order is the best way to go.

No, it doesn't mean the seller is from Germany. It means that there are more than 1 memory cards for sale in the auction. More than 1 person can win, or a bidder can win both. If you're still confused, I'll go into more detail

Why not trust ebay? I've done over 200 transactions, both buying and selling, and I've only had a couple bad experiences. There are so many good they cancel out the bad 10x. For instance, I bought MAXIMO on Ebay today for $27+$3 shipping. $30 for a PS2 game that would cost $50 in stores.
Just check out the feedback before you bid. |

I've bought a lot of big stuff on Ebay: 8mm cam (475$), Laptop (same price). 2 DVDs collections (50$ each) and much more and I never had any inconvenience. Just buy from the good sellers.
By the way guys and gals, if you click on the new banner on our main page (I'm going to add one here soon) and then you register on e-bay, we'll get a few cents every time you buy something from e-bay. In this way you can help Ps2Fantasy and buy some cool stuff at good prices. |

I understand kamari-ice's point though. There are times when I feel like I don't trust anyone on Ebay because I get gypped off and they're the sellers who have quite a lot of positives, and a couple of negatives, but they still gypped me. One time, I bid for this item and it went up to $200.00 and I was the highest bidder. Instead of sending me the actual item, she sent me this box filled with crap that I didn't bid on. When I questioned her about it, she didn't reply. My biggest regret though, is I didn't give her a negative, because I was afraid of getting a negative myself. I sent the payment out on time, but for some reason, it got there pretty late, so she kept nagging me about it for days till she received it. And she didn't do feedback for me, so that's why I was afraid she might give me a neg. and make up some lie, like "Payment received very late, no response to e-mails" etc. She is a horrible seller, and I found out now, she re-registered onto Ebay using a different User ID....
Anyway, on a lighter note, I have a question about Ebay. Does any of you guys use PayPal? If you do, please help me out. I have a bank card on account on Ebay, and I like to use PayPal sometimes. But, in order to have an unlimited credit for using PayPal, I have to get verified, but when I try to, it doesn't work. Can someone help? |
