i dont think rap expresses more talent. i think rock expresses more talent overall, but tahts not to say that rap doesnt express good talent. i think rap has more talent lyrically and rock more instrumentally. but once again thats not to say rock is bad from the lyrical point of view i just think rap has better lyrics(well only talented rappers like Pac)

lets face it SSsnake, no ONE WANTS TO LISTEN to a whole bunch of crazy music from a bunch of redneck white boyz.......we're tired of white ppl already, let the blacks have their glory for once, damn

rock aint notin but head bangin crazy white ish...........and trust me, more white ppl get influenced by rock than anyone does by rap. look at them damn white kids shootin up da schoolz, call that crazy?

Ok you just started up this war again.Ok first things first 3/4 of the rock world sing of positive things,rap on the other hand its the other way around.And how do you know that the music is the influence behind the shootings.The main reason that happens is not the music fault but the parents not taking a big enough roll in the kids life and why do you use sterotypical terms like redneck white boys.Hetfield isnt a red neck,Scott stapp isnt a red neck,robert plant isnt a redneck.Name one rock redneck please.And whats the deal with bringing in racial disputes.Let the black people have there glory?If they wanted glory why did they choose that music.The lead singer for sevendust know what he is doing and he's into rock and that guy kicks ass.Jimi hendrix is a god and is really respected.I dont know why you keep saying this

Racism on any level will not be tolerated. Pimp, we will not discuss anything on the basis of race. If you are intentionally trying to bring up a fight, I suggest you don't, especially if it involves something like race.

Oh and if you were refering to Columbine, music has no influence on people as much as they say it does. And if it did, I heard they listened to rap. Kind of a double-edged sword you brought up there.

Mourdor im gonna say this as nice as i can SHUT UP!!!!!!! the fight was started when sssnake came in here and said rap sucked. Now back to the subject at hand.

Everyone must be miss understanding me i dont care for rap but i like a few songs by nelly thats it and yes sssnake i want to hear you do that. I think that rap is all a like and sounds the same but im openminded and wont smash a topic that is dedicated to rap like some people on these forums.

I thought that this forum was suppose to be a very nice one.....you guys all amuse me by simply showing your lack of communication.

Rap has more talent involved in it...u just cant use rhymes without them ever making any sense.Rock has to do with instruments.But on global scale,i think poeple like rap better than rock simply because rock defeans people.

BTW try Backtracking your Rock songs and you will hear all sort of subliminal messages.
