Can you admit when you're wrong?

Are you the kind of person who has no troubles in admitting when you're wrong or you prefer to keep on telling you're right even if you are the first person to know you're wrong?

About myself: it depends. Usually I have no problems in admitting my faults, but with some persons I find it hard, and I still keep on telling I'm right even if I'm not. This means I got not much respect of those people, but I act like this when they don't respect me as well.

When it matters I admit it when I am wrong or atleast I try too, but when joking around I well.. we will leave that one alone

I have no problem in saying "i'm wrong" and I hate it when people can't because I've got a lot of friends that will never say they're wrong, even if they know they are.

I have a problem admitting when im wrong

If im wrong and then somebody proves im wrong i look stupid, so i have to keep making stuff up and arguing with them, then finally i change the subject

then i dont get laughed at when im wrong.

I normally admit when I'm wrong if I know I am...because if I don't and then everyone else finds out I'm wrong...I'll never hear the end of it, so it looks better if I give in

I find it difficult. I think it depends on the situation though. If the matter at hand isn't "serious", so to speak, I have no trouble being somewhat apologetic and admitting my faults. That, however, is mostly with people I don't really know. I find it hard admitting being wrong maybe because I'm stubborn. When I know that I am in fact wrong, I try every possible way to make it so that I am NOT wrong. And yeah, if I don't like the person, it doesn't matter what bizarre thing I may say, I shall NEVER be wrong...

The problem is not admitting I'm wrong when I already know it. The problem is that very often I can see I'm wrong even when it's evident I am. I'm so sure I'm right that I cannot even think of the possibility I'm not.

When I discover I was wrong I feel really ashamed

Hmm.. I don't have much trouble admitting when I'm wrong when presented with facts proving as much. I don't go on saying "Well, I'm still right!" after somebody's soundly bested me in an argument. Not to say that's very easy to do.

i really depends who i am talking to. i really dont mind admitting at all to one of my freinds because he is far more realaxed and we dont have arguements. with most i will admit rather than carry on argueing but only if im wrong. But there is one kid were i do not give in even if i am wrong and he feels the same so we can have arguements for hours

i like to think i am strong enough to admit when i am wrong.

I can, just as long as it's someone that won't act like a complete loser when I do.

With some of the people I know, if I admit I'm wrong about something, they just keep on pointing it out, and they end up with a swelled up head. With those people, no I don't admit it.

Other than that, I have no problem doing it.

I can always admit I'm wrong. It's probally because my step mother would always find one way or another to proove me wrong at what ever I said or did. But I think I'm just too hard on myself, to ever hold pride for myself, and that includes ever believing that I'm right. Especially when someone dissagrees with me. Then I just eccept it and don't bother arguing with anyone, because I always loose anyways.

I always admit when I'm wrong. Sometimes it takes me a little time to realize that I'm wrong, but then I admit my faults.
