Why playing the Arcade games?

We have this novelty of the Arcade games. Well, I'm interested in knowing everybody's reason for playing them. I've seen some people spent some time there playing the games, which in fact are addictive and may become dangerous after some time

BTW, why do you play the Arcade games? For fun or greed or other reasons? Vote in the poll so that everybody knows

I chose 'other' because my answer is : All of the above!!

But seeing as there wasn't that choice I did it this way, I play for all the reasons you listed.
And may I say what a great idea 'The Arcade' is! Bravo!

I want to beat the high scores, but I don't seem to have the time during my lunch break to manage to do that plus some of them are so damn high

I played that bubble shooter for 24 minutes straight and still only got second... I need to get internet at home in order to beat you guys.

All the choices of the poll are good reasons to play. I think depends on the moment. Sometimes you just want to have some fun, some others you want to play to try to beat scores. But I'm not good at that

They're fun.

Quite fun.

But also, it's quite nice to get in the top 10 and be able to input those little comments. Oh good God, how I love the little comments.

I voted for "I love challenges" because I do.

But I also play because I like the fun and to try to beat the high score (which relates to the challenge part). I don't care for the money, I just like these games overall.

I just play em for fun. Only game I really played for the high score is breakout. I might try for the high score in blackjack since that is just about the only other game here that I am good at.

And you get money from playing the games...?
