FFXI for Europe?

Thats right, a release date has been set for FFXI to be released in Europe.

On September 21, 2004, Europeans will be able to become their very own FF character and explore the world of this beautifully-looking MMORPG.

It will be released for the PC and PS2 on the same day. However, for the PC gamers, only Windows-format.

It will be sold as a package which includes:

FFXI and PlayOnline Viewer (needed to play FFXI and its expansions)
FFXI: Rise of the Zilart
FFXI: Chains of Promietha (which will also be released in Japan and USA on Sept. 21)

Sure took its time

I'm not sure whether I'll get it tbh... I have a birthday in September, so perhaps I'll get it pre-ordered (PC of course - I have the specs, so no point splashing out on the PS2 HDD). Then i'll take my free trial and make a decision from there.

Also, if you would like, my friends and I might be able to help out any players that decide to play. We are on the Lakshmi server and we can get a World Pass for anyone who would like to join me and my friends.
