FFXI live feed

You may have seen this already, but this is a live feed of FFXI.
The camera stays on one character as they play FFXI. You need broadband to watch it.
I just want to know who has seen it. And lets start a discussion if you want.
It plays on WMP, which will open up once you click on the link.
I`m not sure what happens if you have 56k and try to watch it. So as anyone tried?

I believe 56k works, but you'll need it to be running at full wallop to get it (no luck for me then...)

Okay, I checked it out....sat there for 20 minutes waiting for it to show something other than a guy crouched it front of a castle with people running by...finally got to be mind numbing and got outta there

I was just watching the live feed. and saw these cute little tarutaru`s!
So i decided to take screens. here they are. sorry if they`re a bit blurry. cuz the live feed is on WMP, and i put some on full screen. its a bit blurry.
Tarutaru
not sure why, but he tends to fall
and looks at the ground quite a lot
he runs,. so thats why he falls
Its a girl tarutaru!
Guess she likes to dance. lol
Close-up for some reason. I cant control the camera.

If there is anything else interesting, i`ll take a quick screen for you guys.
FFXI is gonna be sweet!

but are you sure thats an FMV in the game? I always thought that was just a wallpaper.

I first saw the shot in an article about the FMV, though I am yet to see it. The Elveen archer wallpaper (on the site as well) is definatly a shot from the FMV, as I actually saw that bit

and guess what? I got some screens of a fight just earlier. It was plently of people against just ONE monster. and it took them about a half hour just to kill it!
Hopefully, that was a boss. cuz i`d hate to have to fight one of those things on a regular basis.
but here are some quick screens i took...
Beginning
Note the darkness
Magic
Monsters can cast magic too
And thats gotta hurt
Note the sunrise
Note thats a big monster against a little tarutaru
But its about to get punched
And sliced(notice the layering with the monster and player)
And diced
And shot at
Until it dies(yay!. but notice the layering, again.)
And this is just a portion of the people who fought

Again, this battle took about half an hour or longer. I lost track after a while. But it was fun to watch. lol
Looks like the monsters in FFXI are going to be a heck of a lot stronger than the ones you`d see in other FF`s. And you`ll have to rely on others to help you. otherwise, you`ll probably die.:p
