More to the point, I think its the fact that people who haven't even played FFX are using them..

Thats right.Thats prolly the biggest reason people use FF characters because there well know and even if you havent played it,youll look good with a banner baised on it

I just see it as kinda hard to understand why people put their trust in a game they are yet to play. However, it's pretty likely it won't stink: its Final Fantasy.

I sometimes choose a character for my Avatar or sig because I think the pic of it looks really good, and I like the look of it.
I might not have a clue who it is but I'll still use it

I think if the person likes there character in there banner or avatar then let them use it, even if they don't know who it is or haven't even played the game let etc...

To aswer what talon said: I post pics in Gallery, not in General chat, or some banners in Help & FAQ Forum (BTW, Help & FaQ Forum is not a place to test your signatures...), if someone asked me to do a benner, and you can't say I'm posting this kind of things here.
I told you that next threads like this one will be locked. If you don't like the rules, leave. If anyone starts posting "Do you like my banner" posts, this General Chat will be all messed up and chaotic.
So please stop posting this stuff.
I can't see why talon you think this is so unfair.
You are kinda new and unexperienced regarding Forums, so we are only trying to explain how things go and how to avoid making mistakes. Be good and follow the rules.
Keep the Forums in order, we don't ask for anything else.
