Ok Xbox 360 looks amazing, in my opinion, and it sure is powerful but I just saw the specs of PS3 and man its almost killing the 360.

Its kinda good thing that both systems are not coming at the same time. So I can buy them both.......by saving some $$$.

Oh and Perfert Dark 0 will be a perfect substitute for HALO 3.

And MGS4 is confirmed as well.............. here goes MakgSnake..all cookoo.....

Halo 3 is confrimed and is coming out the day the ps3 is launched.

And by the way, the killzone 2 video just blows every mutha fucka out the window, thats is AMAZING, not sure if its rendered though

The ps3 looks like a cross between a scanner and george foreman grill LOL.

Rumour is that it's a pre-render, at best achieved by choregraphing the action in low resolution / settings and then playing it back super slow and "dumping" the movie and audio to AVI. It's a shame, because it looks damned fine - but the probably rendered PS3 stuff in the same video doesn't look quite as good. Plus, the camera direction puts too much of a skew on the Killzone video for it to be representative of actual gameplay.

Microsoft has cleared up the rumours that were floating about about alleged X-Box & 360 backwards compatibility.

Easlier reports that "some key titles would be backwards compatible" has been exposed as mosly-untrue.

Microsoft tech people have reconfirmed that direct compatibility would be impossible due to hardware conflicts; 360 uses an IBM chip with ATI GPU, which X-Box uses Intel and nVidia.

Microsoft spokespeople also rules out any form of emulation, explaining that any X-Box games would have to be totally recompiled for the 360.

Which is exactly what the plan is, for some of the Box's top titles.

Yes, MS plan to re-release some of this generation's biggest titles in their new format.

Wether people will actually BUY the re-releases, remains to be seen. Maybe if they had some extra features, or improvements... but I'm not holding my breath.

aweful shit. no backwards.... i will most likely buy just a 360... i mean a halo3 machine.... cause i dont play many games for the box anymore besides halo/halo2... i'm an addict. i love those games... and if they re release the halo's for 360.. i'll most likely buy those too... cause i am weak and will do whatever bungie tells me to.
