"In the past couple of years, we have put an enormous amount of pressure on ourselves to ensure we do everything possible to exceed people's expectations with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas," stated Sam Houser, President of Rockstar Games. "Even though we still have eight months to go, we are starting to become very proud of what we have achieved and we can't wait to get the game into players' hands."

Leslie Benzies, President of Rockstar North, stated, "We are extremely humbled by the success of the Grand Theft Auto series and it has made us push ourselves further than ever to create a title in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas that will hopefully redefine the Grand Theft Auto series and revolutionize open-ended gameplay and video game production values."

What a quick release... hmm... that tells me that the developers are getting overconfident and lazy that GTA will definetly succeed. Don't get me wrong, I want the game, but I don't want it to be rushed at all.

Anyway, we'll see I guess.

Yeah, I'm getting that impression too, but wasn't GTA: Vice City released exactly one year after GTA: 3 also? So, if you think about it, GTA: San Andreas being released in October would be one year from the release of GTA: VC.

No worries here, Rockstar North has established a solid reputation. At least in my view it has, GTA3 was great, Vice City was great, and Manhunt was equally impressive.

Oh hells yeah... i cant wait to see some screens n shit... i was nuts about vc and i am sure this wont dissapoint... hoping for some more innovation... but hey... its gta so it will be addictive gameplay no matter what... so no worries right?

But still... it wouldnt hurt to get some more new shit... right??

So you're saying the game has only been out for four months? Lol, naw, I signed up in 2002 just to talk about Vice City so it must have been October 2002.

I'm with you guys here, this new GTA is bound to be great even if it doesn't live up to the previous GTA's. Logo looks cool too...

since the states are so large so u think there going to put 3 maps in the case...you know like in gta 3 and gta vc they had maps of the place with the instructional guide..or will they have a big map and put all the states on there and they would small.
