One question
Will US edition Playstation 2 works in a foreign country by using a stepdown 50W voltage converter(220/240V to 110/120V)?

Yes it does, just make sure you buy a good one, as bad stepdown converters can ruin your hardware or break easily. With a good converter, you will have absolutely no problems.

So it will be ok if i buy a circuit breaker protection conveter. Do you have any suggestions for a good one?

I really think that if you a have favorite electronics shop in your area you will be able to find it the there. We bought a couple of them in a local store, custom made by the store's technicians, and they are so powerful we can plug as many devices as we wish to each of them.
