Sit, Boy!!! (thud!!!)
Judging by my title you guys know what this is all about...
That's right, Inuyasha (Is that spelled right?? ) So I wanted to talk about one of the number one anime in my book... (For those who don't know It's about a young girl who accidently get drag down an old well, where she is dropped into an alternate reality thats like Tokyo before it was Tokyo, except with vicous man-eating demons... The girl finds out she is the reincarnatinon of an old priestess form that time who was creamated... She also finds out that she has a thing called a sacred jewel logged in her somewhere, ( you don't wanna see how it's ripped out of her ) She finds a boy who is logged in a tree by an arrow by the old priestess, she free's him and he destroys the demon who brought the girl there in the first place... But... his eye is on the sacred jewel that he tried to steal. Looks like trouble... (To be Continued) (Note: Oh, and the girls name is Kagome... )

Err.... IMO it's over rated. It's decent, but it's nothing I'd really boast about. If it leaves the nagging out of it for a while maybe, just maybe I'd be a little more interested. Kagome and Shippo has got to be the most annoying people ever. >_<

I don't like too much anything by Rumiko Takahashi, but I thought InuYasha was an ok series. The manga wasn't as good as the anime, but that's my opinion (I'll be slapped for this, probably...). I've read/watched mainly comedic stuff by Takahashi (Urusei Yatsura, Ranma 1/2, Maison Ikkoku etc.), so I was surprised this was more on the action side. But as I said, I got bored of the manga. Yes, some characters are annoying and some situations are repetitive, but this is typical of Takahashi's works. Maison Ikkoku from the same author is a lot better among her stuff if you like manga. Speaking of anime, maybe InuYasha is more fun because is more varied and and briefer in terms of episodes (from what I can remember). I think it's a good series for a certain type of audience...

its ok, its not too engrossing...I watched most eps just tryin to see if Kagome and Inu would finally hook up....I found it out ahead of time and stopped watching
but I have to admit, Inus half brother is wicked. I love anime villains like him.....uncaring and cold. He doesnt stay that way but hes vicious looking. |

I personally enjoy it, but there are not many animes that I don't like at this time, so yah..... Miroku is the best though with all of his "attempts" and Sango comes in a close second.

the only reason I like it/dont like it is because of its story. It sets up to go one way, their adventure to get all the jewel shards. Then it folds on itself because it has no real enemy until the later eps. Then the story gets even more complicated when...
well im not goin to ruin it, but Inuys past comes back and it clouds the entire story..it does make it more interesting but oddly hard to understand (what I mean is the motives of a certain character). With all this weighing it down, it still manages to repeat alot...and it adds more and more characters I agree that Shippo(sp?) is annoying and kagome can be as well....the characters are ok I guess. It never got to the point...is what Im tryin to write in this long post. I saw it in pretty far too and just gave up. |

I pretty much like Shippo, I have to admit that he's pretty cute for a small fox demon. If he was older and his fox illusion magic had alittle power and practice to it, I'll bet he'd do just fine and be able to avenge his father. (Imagine shippo being at least 12 or 14, maybe he'll stand some sort of a chance alomg side Inuyasha.)

Easy method to avoiding that...
keep staring at kagomes' chest or something distracting... I don't have to do neither, due to my ears bleeding till I was deaf... Wait a minute, I'm WHAT?!?
