Goodman...I had this problem once while playing The Getaway. After banging the controller in desperation for a few moments (which I don't suggest) I figured I would just reset the game and replug in the controller. After that it worked fine. I hope this helps. I've had this same problem before with my regular controller a couple times...I think it's normal for it to get stuck every now and then.

LoL !! yea..

i got really into the game last night so i say, "what the heck ill finish lucia disc now", her disc is not really that long, took me about 2 hours to finish her mission..

dante took me a couple of days to finish, about 5-6 hours play time..

ill probably take my time on harder difficulties, like exploring more, searching for secret levels, those kind of stuff..

Well, as said before in this thread, the game's not too long. If you really wanted to, both discs could be beaten in a day.

Dante has another combo that I think was omitted, which is actually my favorite... I *think* this is how u do it but dont quote me, dont have the game in front of me but I'll confirm it later.
press triangle once, hit triangle triangle then on the 4th attack press UP on the directional pad TOWARDS to enemy with triangle, the press triangle again... Dante will leap forward a little bit with a downward slash and then cleave them quickly back up into the air, where u can jump and start an air combo without using a high time. Very nice

I dont get it, why would someone finish a game in a day. Ok fine if you have rented it, but still........ may be thats how people like playing. I love playing it slow, taking the juice out completely. Although I can, I never finish my games in weeks times.

im the same as you makg, i try to keep it slow and not finish the game quickly. but this game is an exception, its just so addicting to play..

btw, how much have you done so far, makg ??

I totally understand you King, I do the same for Metal Gear Solid games....... but the rest I always take my time!

As for where I am....... I am fighting against the "Tanks" for the first time now........... (I am not far at all)....... and I dont mind!

.. I pass on one stage and I turn it off, to play it after a couple of days! But its a great great game!

To me it doesn't matter if the game is a little TOO addictive. Like after MGS, nothing is more addictive for me then RESIDENT EVIL on GameCube, but I am still taking my time. I dont wanna rush things up. I am finishing RE1 first and then going to Zero, but right now I am playing them both every other day or so.

Off the topic: hey makg, ive got some questions to ask you, seeing you was talking about resident evil, which one do i do first resi 1 or resi 0? or is it resi 1,2,3,0?!?!?!? and on residnet evil 0 is it true to kill the zombies you have to totally destroy the bodys like decapitate them. if so how do u kill them with your pistol?
ive asked you these questions because i will get a gamecube soon and get the residnet evil exclusives for it, just like you

btw have you got resident evil 2 yet for gamecube?
