I don't know how interesting this will be to most members, but I was fooling around today and I figured out the bass line for Tank! by the Seatbelts (the intro to the Cowboy Bebop series).

Anyway - it's played on the double bass but here's a tab transcribed to a four-string electric;

(This is the main riff although it sounds much scratchier and organic on a double bass.)

(And this is the second part of the riff. Throw it in when it's sensible but drop the 3rd fret on A, which is only for the drop in note at the beginning).


There's a lot more going on at different points in the song but if you have those to work with you can probably figure the rest out.



Anyway, this is a little off-beat but I know there are some bass players/anime fans on here - so try it out.

Sweet, nice find. You don't know the tab for Cruel Angel Thesis (Intro to Eva) do you? I had it once but can't find it. You here it between the intermission on Death and Rebirth I think and it sounds so cool on the guitar.
