anyone know when tomb raider angel of darkness comes out it will go online?

I havn't heard a single thing about that game being online. I doubt it would be. As for the release, it was pushed back, not sure how back.

Last I heard was it has been pushed back til late February in the UK.

As for being on-line, I'm not really sure how it could be. I mean there's only 1 Lara Croft, and it's an adventure game. I cannot see a 'deathmatch' mode working too well. That's not to say some form of Lara game couldn't be on-line at some point in the future - I just don't think that AOD will be.

just found the date your right spank feb 2003 not the exact date though, have u see the graphics! the last tomb raiders lara was only 500 polygons this time laras 5000 polygons!
this this tomb raider looks like mgs a bit sneaking around instead of the last one full blown action.
as for deathmatch i think it could work, and on other online games there are more than one character for example ut2003, so there could be more than one lara croft!

As for one character..... there isn't only one character. But you play as a new "Male" character in the game as well. Who has some special magic skills on his hands. So its not Lara throughout the game.

From what i've seen of the latest game play footage isn't good..

Eidos has mad excellent progress as far as bringing Lara into the next gen. Although, they are also trying to make huge enviorments that the ps2 can't handle without the load time pauses. (If anyone has played red faction you know what i'm talking about) I hope they clean that issue up before release.. It won't harm the gameplay but it doesn't help the game out any either.

Ah, I've always tried to like Tomb Raider. But I always got real bored with those games after some hours of gameplay. If they were a little bit more fast paced, like Soul Reaver, maybe I would give it a try some time.

As for the online thing, the only thign that coems to my mind would be some sort of competition of archeologists to see who finds a certain artifact in the lowest time possible. I dunno.

So does that mean this game will have slow downs in the "GAMEPLAY" or.... huge loading times??..

no slowdowns in gameplay, just those odd pauses where the game is loading up the next area.

Maybe not looong loading times, but frequent short ones when entering rooms and stuff...this is what I'm picturing, but I actually have no idea.
As for the online thing, my first answer would be no, but upon thinking abou it, the game was pushed way back so its very possible they took time to add some new feature to the game that we are not familiar with from previous Tomb Raider games so who knows??

TR online would be a big mistake if they were to ever do it, but I doubt they would... there wouldnt be much to do.
