Automodellista
Update from yours truly!
New cars, new info. Quick summary of the game for those of you who dont know. Automodellista is capcoms first and only online racing game. Not only will it be online, but the game is also cel-shaded, and gives you the ablility to customize your car practically any way you want it. These features and more make the game stand out from most other racing games. The current list of cars(12) to be in the game are as follows: Daihatsu Move(Dont ask why, but its in there) https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/...car_08move.gif Honda Civic https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/...ar_11civic.gif Honda S-2000 https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/...ar_05s2000.gif Mazda RX-7 https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/.../car_06rx7.gif Mitsubishi Lancer(7th Evolution) https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/...car_07EVO7.gif *Continued in next post* |

Toyota Celica
https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/..._03cellica.gif Toyota Supra(My fave of them all) https://www.capcom.co.jp/newproducts/...ar_09supra.gif Thats all of the cars currently announced. Capcom is going to include licensed tuners and licensed car parts in this game. It is still unknown what companies will be added, the only one known as of now is snap-on. Hopefully, this game will do very well in the US and japan. It it still unknown wether or not this game will be released in europe though. Since it is online... |

Thanks for posting those man! I'm very interested in a racing game for the first time in my life because it looks so beautiful.
My favorites are the RX-7 (holy crap, have you seen the picture of it in the garage in magazines!?!? sweet!) and the Impreza (it always looks great) |

Quick update:
IGN finally beat me and some other people I know to info on AM. lol But they got it from impress. which got it from an event in tokyo. neways, the info is that there will be a feature called "VJ theater" in the game. Which allows you to edit your race replays, and put in a wide array of visual effects as well as music effects. |

What I'd like to know is, will you be able to play this game offline? I've never played online games before and I don't know if I will like it. Especially if I have to pay a monthly fee.

That's been my question about online games also, Sleazy. I think there will be some games that're strictly online (FFXI) and most of the games such as Auto Modellista, SOCOM, and Red Faction 2 will be both... because the companies know that not too many people will be online with ps2 during the first releases.... I just can't wait to see the first videos of Auto Modellista, i bet the graphics will be sweet and smooth as hell

I Want
Yes, I Want Games That Can Be Ended In BOTH Ways. Like Auto, Socom And All. Cause Not Many People Will Get Internet On PS2 That Quite Soon.
I Hate The Fact About FFXI And Also Hearing The News On MGS3 To Be Completely Online. DARN! Neways... Auto Looks Amazing, I'll Def Get This Game. So Sure About It!.!
