How do you feel when you enter a community or you start anything for the first time? Do you feel embarassed or out of place? Do you try to please anybody else or just act as you normally do, thinking that you can't be bothered if people don't like you?
Did anything bad ever happened to you while you where still a newbie or people were rude or played bad tricks behind your back?

This Was Long Time Back, When I First Started Going To The Forums. The First One Was "Ps2Fantasy". And Well I Use To Get All Excited To See Everytime A Member Posted A Reply In The Metal Gear Forum (Cause In The Beginning) I Only Visited The MGS Forum. And Couldn't Believe Ma Eyes That People Are TALKING "Metal Gear Solid" Stuff. It Felt So Amazing.

No One Was Rude To Me Here. (Although I Had A Fight Once) But Thats A Different Story. So Yeah... Everybody In The First Didn't Know I Even Existed, May Be Because My TOPICs And Replies Weren't Great Or Good Enough!.! But Later I Learned How To Interact With Members (Thanks To The Members/Admins Of These Forums)

So Yeah........I Use To Get All Excited Whenever I Entered These Forums

Then I Tried Looking For Other Forums And Was SHOCKED By Their Behavior, As One Of The Admins Asked If I Was Taking Some CRACK, As He Thought I Was Talking CRAP. I Left Those Forums Right Away. (Thought That If Admins Are Like That, How'd Members Be).

But Now If I Ever Join Any Forums (I Dont JOIN Any Other Ps2 Forums) I Am Never Nervous Just Curious To See How Old Members Would Respond Towards Me (Most Of Time THEY Dont Like Me, Cause Of The Way I WRITE) But Then Who Cares!.!

This was the first forum that I actually posted more then once at. Most of the time when i post at a new place its to ask a question about something, I get the answer and move on. I saw a link to this sight and signed up and just started posting. There was only maybe 5 people here when i signed up the first time so we all came rather close, kinda like a wierd internet family, hehehe. So i had no problem when comming here. To this day this is the only place I post daily at. I think I have an account working at a few other places dont even remember the passwords.

Its been quite a while since I was a newbie here, but I remember that this was the first forum that I ever joined.
I pretty much only posted in the Final Fantasy forum at first before adventuring out of there and checking out the rest of the forums and seeing what they were all about.
I also remember that I got really happy when someone agreed with me on a topic or posted a reply to one I made, because it made me feel that other people were noticing me and I kind of started feeling excepted here.

I've never been ill treated here or really anywhere else that I've been. But I usually try to get on with everyone where I go and never try to cause trouble or anything.

The first time I ever joined a forum I was just kinda scared ppl would ignore me or something liek that... not a big deal.

Actually I never feel embarrased or anything like that, it's not like if I'm meeting these ppl for real.

It's not a big deal for me whenever I'm a newbie, really. Although I still feel like a newbie in this forum.

I started going to forums about a year ago. I ranted enough of those forums so I won't say anything about it.

I first came here at the beginning of January. Right before the crash. I had friends bring me here, so I wasn't too shy. I immediately hit it off in the FF and RPG forums as most of my gaming knowledge is in there. So many things have happened here. So many things have yet to come.

Nah not really. If people did I'm sure they regreted it and became one of my temp. friends. I'm a good person for the most part.

The first forum I went to I didn't even know what a forum was. The people there were all RPG Guru's who knew everything and anything and if you weren't at their level of genius you were automatically labeled a loser.

I Hate When That Happens, To Newbies. ..... And I Hate Those PEOPLE Who Think That They ARE The Masters Just Cause They Know A Little More Or Have Higher Post Counts.

Thank God Ps2Fantasy Doesn't Have These Kind Of Members. Damn This Place Is The BEST. Has All The Pros And None Of The CONS At All!.!

you gotta admit though makg, we do get some of the annoying ones every now and then. lol
and i remember that erm.. fight? what was that all about anyways.

as for me, i usually just blend in. people know i'm there. and i dont stick out from anyone else, unless there's some sort of argument. and if someone did argue with me when i was a newb and they thought they were "elite", i always snapped back at them and argued my a** off to try and prove my point. picking on newbs is a mean thing to do. but picking on newbs that are completely annoying and bothersome is just fine by me.

I don't mind being a newbie. If you have to start, just start, there's nothing else to do. I know there are people who just like to make newbie feel uncomfortable, so I try to ignore them when I meet them. It makes you waste less anger and time!

I feel really embarassed when I'm a newbie and if people are rude or anything like that I have some difficulties forgiving them later

My first forum was www.kyoht.com's forum. Everyone there was awesome, and I was able to talk with some really great artists!

I signed up on here after finding my way to www.ps2fantasy.com when looking for cheats and the topics seemed cool so I signed up and am I glad I did so! I always just be myself and if anyone disapproves then tough bananananana!
