Has the greatest hits edition of Silent Hill 2 where you can play as Maria come out in North America yet?

I thought the option to play as Maria was only in the XBox version of SH2. Can anyone confirm that this feature is aslo available in the Greatest Hits version?

I have the "Greatest Hits" of Silent Hill 2, and yes you can play as Maria (And you dont need to finish the game first) You can play it as soon as you buy the game and put it in your Ps2 (But would spoil the main story game for you) Thats why I havn't tried it yet.

Excellent! But it does make me wonder if the Platinum (the UK equivalent of GH) edition will feature the Maria side-story... Hmmm, must investigate!

I think it would be quite interesting to play as Angela. What do you suppose lies beyond those stairs for her? Thanks for the info, btw.

Yeah that'd be interesting to play as other characters..

i'm probably going to get this game later today..if not in a few days along with Halo finally

my xbox is starving for more games.

How long is the new scenerio..also is the UFO ending included?

I havn't played at all the Maria part, so I have no idea how long it is, but I doubt that it'll be very long, as the game itself is pretty medium length. I havn't finished it yet, I take my time. Dont like to finish game the day I buy them.

Unless if its Metal Gear or anything close.

Makes me think I better go now and put some hours into the game right now. ...

This is awesome, I didn't know that Silent Hill 2 was coming out as a Greatest Hits game.

I still haven't played it but I liked the first one a lot so this interests me.

What are the rest of the line-up for the last release of the Greatest Hits selection?
