Music Suggestion Thread
This is basically what the title says.
somebody suggests a band and the next person goes to check them out. when you come back rate them and write a small review about them if you want. basically this is just finding out everybody's musical taste. now i'll suggest a band or twp. you can list as many bands as you want but better to make it 4 or less per post. band=boy sets fire songs=release the dogs, last years nest, high wire escape artist band=three days grace songs=(i hate) everything about you, home, burn, just like you band=pulse ultra songs=build your cages band=Earshot songs=get away, not afraid well theres what i suggest for now now what do you guys suggest?

Well I'm download those songs as we speak so in the mean time I'm going to put some of mine down.
Echo7 Songs - One Step Away, Beneath the Surface, Left Alone Forty Foot Echo Songs - Save Me, Brand New Day, Hollow ShineDown Songs - Lost In the Crowd, Crying Out, Fly From The Inside Closure Songs - Look Out Below, Live Again, Lie To Me One more thing can we exclude rap because truthfully the stuff is kinda a waste. Lets make this a Rock Thread only.

I'm no music expert so my reviews arent really in deapth per say
i also dont have kazza or winmx but thankfully i have other methods of finding music Echo 7 8/10 pretty good i like them one step away was my favorite out of those 3 songs. they remind me of other bands but yeah this band is good i like them Forty foot echo 9/10 These guys remind me somewhat of matchbox 20 but harder (yeah im weird) Shinedown 9/10 When i heard fly from the inside i thought this was going to be another. "scream at the top of your lungs" kinda band but when i listened to 45 my opinion changed. good band SSSnake Closure 8/10 Pretty good i liked look out below and live again. See im not really a expert music reviewer

Ok lets get to Beretta's Boy Sets Fire - 8/10: I like this band very much. I got a demo of them before they were popular and absolutely fell in love with there sound. Everything of theres is fresh and sounds great. 3 Days Grace - 8/10: Another one of those bands reaching out to something different. They are slighty original in there style of playing and I appreciate it. They really might have something big going. PulseUltra - 7/10: Good but not as good as the others. I never heard of these guys before Beretta mentioned them. Good solid rock music non the less. Probably going to buy there CD too. Earshot - 6/10: Even though I am a fan of there stuff it just doesn't grip me as much as other music. They are a very solid rock band and I can't say that they have any real bad songs, they just don't hit me as hard as other bands. New bands for me Acroma Song - Sun Rises Down Pacifier Songs - Bullet Proof, Comfort Me, Home Big Dismal Songs - Remember, Run Away, Too Pretty Oleander Songs - Hands off the Wheel, Don't Break My Fall, JoyRide Revis Songs - Caught In the Rain, Spin, City Beneath

I literally cringed when Rap won IGN"s pole for "Best Music Genre". Just goes to show just how many wigger/ poser's there are in this world. Its sad really And P.S. Im begging the rest who reply. DO NOT RECCOMEND SIMPLE PLAN. They are quite possibly the worst sounding rock band on earth. There lead singer couldnt sing his way out of a paper bag. And , I dont know who writes thier lyrics, but he/she needs to be taken out back and shot

Smile empty soul: bottom of a bottle (sorry the rest of the cd aint that great.. but this song rocks) Kindof like a chevelle softer rock...
A perfect circle: Weak and powerless, Judith(older but good nonetheless) and Blue. Maynard James Keenans'(lead singer of tool) other band, kindof like what tool would be w/out extremely hard music... good lyrics and good zoning music. Their new cd is The Thirteenth Step... Check it out if you can! Korn: Did my time: Sure you've prolly all heard this.. but just on the chance that someone hasn't heard it yet.. its a great Korn song.. and even better live If you dont know what kind of music Korn is i pitty you. Marilyn Manson: (s)aint: I know you're all prolly thinking "eww manson sucks!" but this is a pretty kick ass song.. besides the fact that i really like manson.. but thats me.. this song should be a song that anyone could like... but then again.. i am a different individual. Manson is a heavier rock w/ a lyrically offensive style.. but nothing too bad in this song... i think.

band: Finger Eleven 9/10 Man I love this band. There another Canadian band that are doing quite well. I can't believe you didn't put "First Time" down as one of your songs. band: The Exies 7/10 I like the sound but they fail to really capture me with there songs. I don't know maybe I'll have to listen to the music some more until I really like them band: ra 10/10 Ra is the shit, 7 String band at its finest. There not one band song on there CD From One. Can't get enough of them. Fav's of the CD are definately, Rectifier, Do You Call My Name, Sky. band: lifehouse 9/10 When I wanna mellow out and listen to something very beautiful and soothing I would pick out these guys. Both there Albums No Name Face and Stanely Climbfall are excellent. Definately anyone looking for a softer, acoustic style rock band should check them out.

Band- Rhapsody
Songs- Eternal Glory -Down of Victory -Holy Thunderforce -Lamento Eroico Band- Queen Songs-The Show must go on (the Elton John cover is good too) -Keep Yourself Alive -Princes of the Universe -Bicycle Race Rhapsody is heavy metal a la Iron Maiden, but they play and blend with a lot of classical instruments such as violin, flute, etc... They're from Finland. It's currently my favorite band, before this band, Queen was :B Beretta, this is one bad ass thread, too bad I ain't got a PC to download music Everyone should be able to suggest whatever they want but of course explaining what kind of music it is

HIM: 9/10
Very solid sounding band. Enjoyed everything I downloaded from them LIVE: 9/10 Similar to HIM, but I probably like these guys a bit more because I can relate to there music easier. RZA ft XAVIER NAIDOO: 0/10 Sorry to be crude, the rest of the bands rocked, but this was rap and so I gave it a low score. Hate me if you will but I do not like the music. Misfits: 10/10 Misfits rock nuff said. Definately check out these guys no matter what. Sick of it all: ?/10 Couldn't find any of there mp3's. I pretty sure I would like it if you posted it berserker. Youth of today: ?/10 Same as above. Berserker tell me where I can get mp3's or maybe a CD. How It Ends: ?/10 ^Same. Damn I want more Rock music 88 fingers Louie: 0/10 Sorry this is rap I hate it with a passion because of the lack of originality and strong topics. Brotha Lynch Hung: 0/10 Same as above TRU: 0/10 Same as above

Maybe some people are posting about local bands that havent released anything into the main stream yet ?
Also....I just saw the tail end of a music video that had Carlos Santana in it with some kid singing. The Chorus was something like : "So, why dont you and I get together.....blah blah blah blah....Heaven...Cuz without you theyre never gonna let me in" I just wondered who the kid is . Anyone know ?
