If you planned on seeing this movie? I went to see the first movie, which i enjoyed immensely, on the opening day, as a matter of fact, saw it at 10 am the opening day, hehe. Im a big fan, and from what few previews ive seen this one should be as good if not better than the first. Although i probably wont be the first in town to see it like the first one, i plan on going asap to this one...... How about you?

Hells yeah I am. The First movie was awesome and I am expecting nothing less from the sequal. The Trailers are showing off even more fancy visual effects and the story seems to be progressing slowly..wich hopefully means ALOT more Spidey movies. I cant wait to see this movie

Yea, I would see this movie on opening day but I am a little short on $$$ right now so I'll probably see it next week, when I get paid.

All i can say is that this is probably the most anticipated movie this year in my book. I love the first so much i feel that the film and i have eloped or something, and after seeing so many peeks of the second one, i have no doubt in my mind that this movie isn't going to blow my mind away. I may even need a new pair of boxers by the time the show ends.

Im amazed that no one has responded to this thead concerning Spiderman 2. There was a lot more interest in Van Helsing than Spiderman 2. The other two forums i frequent have had large responses to this subject. Well, anyways, i will be sitting in a theater within the hour, so will report my findings as opportunity permits...

I actually saw this movie today through, uh... 'unorthadox' means. Needless to say, the film is fantastic, a definately fitting tribute to the first movie (Which I also thought was brilliant).
The effects and fight scenes this time round blew my mind. There's a scene where Doctor Octopus and Spiderman fight on the side of a building, and those few seconds alone speak for the entire movie. Phenomenal. The plot this time round is held back a little with Peter's life and how hard he's finding it leading two lives. Though I understand the point of this, it bogs down on the actual plot of the film somewhat, leaving the movie feeling a little diluted. The rest of it is great though. There's some great plot twists and a few suprises, with some incredibly tense scenes. Definately the best film I've seen in the past twelve months. Go see it!

Good soundtrack? I've heard a couple of songs from it and I like them.
I'm going to see shrek 2 this weekend and I'm not sure when Spiderman2 comes out here but if it's out the weekend after I'll probably see it then if I can afford it. lol I'm hoping I wont feel dissapointed.

Very good, Dactrius, i can tell we very much saw the same movie, you have a good description of what i saw also. This movie in every way rivals the original, and i loved the original. Highly recommended, and clearly in another two years we will be seeing another sequel this time with the son of Green Goblin taking over the role of his father, and being goaded on by his father's spirit, aka the spirit that led his father to become Green Goblin. This is a kicking flick, check it out, 4.5 outta 5...

Alltime record movie sales for the first 6 days ever! I do believe this movie will be one of the all time most successful in movie revenue! Says not only a lot about the movie, but its competition, and its been pretty weak so far, dont see much changing that, either, i doubt that Irobot will be takng many sales away...

Saw this movie the other day.
It was pretty good... although I thought he showed his face to way too many people... Hell, he might as well just go webslinging through NY without his mask on. |
