Living in different ages
I know, don't tell me, these kind of questions are sick and silly, but we must chat also about silly things!
If given the opportunity to live in a different age/century, which one would you probably choose and why? Do you know many things about this age or do you just have a personal idea of it? |

I would love to live during the Roman Empire. I've studied it a lot in history class and it's so interesting! I'd goto the gladiator events and shows at the colieseum, talk with people, and eat the wonderful food!!
The worst time period would be the middle ages... with the plague and feudalism and a super high death rate. no wonder they called it the dark ages! |

Cool choice Merc!
I'd like to live during in the ancient Greece. I've read many books about it and it was an extraordinary period of history! Culture, myths, intrigues and so on of that period are very appealing! But I'd like to live there as a man, because women didn't have many opportunities... |

Ancient Greece
All the wars and battles they had would have been neat to see first-hand. The Spartans knew how to fight and they were strong.

I'd like to live during the XIX century. I know, it's not very distant, but many things have changed.
Don't know why, probably it would be as boring as hell (uhmm is hell boring anyway?), but I can't think of anything better |

I also agree with Hylas and Sleazy, it'd be great to be a king in Egypt or a Greek warrior from athens or Sparta.

I'd choose the midieval times. I suppose anywhere as long as it took me that far back. I think it'd be so awesome to have a hand to hand cobat with a sword. I just love the way they dressed, the combats and everything! All the wars and deaths done by a sword at hand...very exhilarating.

Yes Thornn...Medieval!! Oh the angry face? I dunno, I started using them since I came to forums and it has developed into a custom. Besides, isn't it lovely?

I'd like to see the future, not because I don't like to see other historical periods, but because I'm really curious about it

I have another approach to that question... I think that I'd rather "fast foward" in time. You see, I think I would find seeing all the things change before my eyes a lot more interestin' that simply being in a fixed age.
I'm not a big fan of the past, 'cuz people never took baths and all... Plus, they were a lot "less smart" than we are now and I don't think I could live with people that think that the world is flat or think that things as simple as thunder is somekind of message from the gods... No offense to all of you that think it would be great Anyway, I think that the best is yet to come... I'd love to be able to live for at least another 2000 years, but that's another story. BTW, If I had to choose a fixed age to go to, I would definitively choose the future ! ( As far as I could go, I guess... ) |

Do you guys believe that if you were to go all the way millions of years back to the dinosaur ages (or any age)... do you think if you did something simple like stomp on a bug or kill a tree, that our world would change once you got back? I always thought that was very interesting.

I don't think that there would be a huge difference, but sure there would be some sort of change...but nothing big
