Lyrical Association Thread
Ok, this is much like the Word Association thread (thanks to Mena for the inspiration) except you are to use a lyric from a song you've heard that the last posted lyric made you think of (for whatever reason in your mind you want.)
Here's an example: Trunks69420: "I can feel the wheel but I can't steer When my thoughts become my biggest fear..." From "Sickman" by Alice In Chains* Beserker: "I'm going off the rails on a crazy train" From "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne* *label it if you know where you heard it from with the song and/or artist along with any other info if you're feeling like you want to share it (optional) **only rule is try and use a different band or artist for the next lyric I think this is cool because we'll get to see patterns in music lyrics and what they mean to people and how different songs across genre's deal with certain emotions or things in their own way. This way we can also become interested in other people's music. If we don't get that much out if it that doesn't matter because it's just for fun anyway. Btw, if your lyric you post isn't closely related like the example i used that is perfectly fine! That's just what thought of. Take this anywhere you want, people! Ok, now I will start it off: "Buying lies and stealing jokes and laughing everytime I choke..." From "Slaves and Bulldozers" by Soundgarden off of Badmotorfinger _RED_ stuff
