Yeah, it looks like sh*t but that's because Bruce Wayne gussied it up like that... I love Batman, but not that stupid tank thing! It takes away so much faith I had in him to be able to fight without so much damn firepower! Ah well... as is life.
I hope this movie is good... Christian Bale is awesome (AND hot!) so I'm hopeing he'll do it well!!! and plus Micheal Caine is like... so awesome... ABOVE awesome really! I can't wait to see this now! Last edited by Gadzoox; Jul 3rd, 2004 at 09:44 AM.. |

Perhaps it is not "The Batmobile". If my memory serves me correctly, and it should because I'm a Batman buff, he had quite a selection of vehicles in which he used to fight the crime of Gotham City in. Perhaps you are mistaken as to the origins of this "bat-contraption".
Of course there is always the possibility I failed to read something about it. |

I may be alone on this one, but whether thats the batmobile or not, I think it looks pretty cool. It atleast looks better than the one in Batman Forever. Now that one was silly.

I'm in full agreement with you Red on the fact that the Batman Forever Bat Mobile looked pretty gay for lack of better term. The best Bat Mobile was in Bat Man Returns with Michael Keaton as Bat Man

yeah, i believe Frank Miller's vision revitalized Batman. This film seems to be drawing a great deal of influence from that vision.
Dark Knight Returns, would make an excellent movie! I bought that leather bound Frank Miller collection graphic novel when i use to collect comics. That story was awsome, i liked the whole return after retirement plot, like when Bruce Wayne is sitting down watching the news and every channel he flips too there's mention of one crime after another..until he just breaksdown and becomes Batman again. It was as if he was trying to run away from that part of himself, but it ended up catching up to him anyway. The last confrontation with Harvey Dent and The Joker plus the battle with Superman..classic stuff.

Well I'm not a Huge Batman Fan, but I may possibly go and see this..
for the reasons that follow: Christian Bale..Loved him ever since I first saw him in Empire of the Sun, and then Newsies, Little Women and he was great in American Psycho. Michael Cane.. Well need I say more! Morgan Freeman.. Just Brilliant! Gary Oldman...Well Yknow he's Gary Oldman! What a star cast! Shame about Katie Holmes dragging it down! Piggle x x x x
