something to be proud of
Is there anything you have done in your life or in the last period that makes you feel proud of yourself?
It doesn't have to be something special, like saving the Planet |

Well, being proud is not very common for me. I mean, when I do anything at the beginning I'm pleased (pleased, not proud) then when someone criticize or when I look more carefully at it, I find it insignificant.
I can't be proud if I always think in a stupid way, don't you think? |

This may sound not interesting, but the main thing I'm proud of when it comes to myself is that I think I'm a reasonable person

Well, lets see... I guess I'm proud to be the only member of my family that doesn't smoke and/or drink. I'm also proud to be able to understand things better than the average person.
Just a thought here... Do you believe that sadness makes you feel like you are more profound ? I've heard somewhere that people that are sad tend to believe they are able to understand things better... What do you think ? Okay, 'nough said ! |

I have little to nothing to be proud of, although I did finish my story and I am in the school play, that is about it

Proud of..hmm. Well at the moment I hold a 4.7 GPA in my honor roll classes. Yay! I'm really proud of myself for that because I have been working very hard to achieve good grades in those very tough classes. I just hope the finals don't kill me...
Well, qjij, I think it varies. I've known some people who act more mature and even more sensitive when they are depressed. Though, I've mostly encountered people which at a moment of depression, are extremely irrational. Even I when I am sad, I tend to do and say things I normally wouldn't. But when we are talking about a more serious matter, I tend to see things in whole new way and even have the capability to understand them better. Maybe it depends or how serious the situation is but I think it somlemly depends on the person. |

Woah, what a young age to be in college. You must either be really smart or really sneaky.

Sooner or later, I'm sure I'll find something for me to be proud of, but unti that happens, I'll just stay out of this thread.
