Right, done some digging and here is the info I have found. Thus far FFX has sold 4 million copies worldwide. This information is from The GIA web-site and you can find the article here.
Now working on the assumption that each copy of FFX retails for $40, this means FFX will have generated $160 million worldwide. Once you taken into account development costs, distribution costs, retail outlets share and so on I'll bet there won't be much of that $160 million left! We can probably expect Europe to stick maybe another 2 million units sold on top of that. But it's clear it will never get anywhere near billions of units sold or revenue. - S |

Ok. I have no idea what the difference between Uk and US is. I was wondering, cause that sounded a little weird that it was selling for $40.00. But if it's like that in UK, that's cool.

Prices vary from country to country, and so does the dollar value. I bought FFX for $69.99, and that was on sale. Regularly it's $79.99. That's canadian dollars BTW.

Shouldn't it be $75.00 in Canada? Or did they just charge an extra $5.00? I noticed that my local Babbages was selling it for $55.00. What a rip off.
