Holy crap...this anime is amazing. It starts out hilarious yet keeps an awesome plot...and the art is fantastic. The characters are all fantastic and everything comes together perfectly. Who's seen this, and what did you think?

I read many of the mangas for Naruto, and it's one of my favorite animes. However, I still need to read many more for me to understand it better.

I saw the first two episodes and didn't like it very much. *gets kicked in the face* There's just something about it that doesn't appeal to me...I think it's the humor. I'm pretty sure that it becomes more dramatic and all later on, but as of right now, the humor is a big disadvantage that is preventing me from continuing it. Ah, but that's just my opinion.

Kakashi is probably the coolest character in the show...I hope he finishes "Come Come Paradise" pretty soon, he's been reading it for a while...

Just skip to the good stuff if you can, that's what I'd do.

I've read whatever of the manga that I could that has been in Shonen Jump. The beginning didn't really appeal to me because I didn't see anyone with a sword and I heard it was about ninjas or something and well I wanted to see something that had to do with that. Well in the last issue of shonen jump things got interesting. Where could I find the anime?

Nah, I'm not going to rush these fansubbers, they give me anime for free, and make $0.00 profit.

SSJTrunks: Actually, I [used] [insert link that I am not allowed to post and you will have to PM me to get] to find it. Kazaa is just as good, though. The quality is excellent as well. Toriyama's World did an excellent job fansubbing these eps. I don't know where you're at in the manga and I don't want to spoil it for you or for you to spoil it for me. So don't say anything.

Meryl: You didn't like the Sexy no Jutsu?!?! Heh...that was great. Beating the Hokage like that and stuff. And Konohamaru is hilarious too...but honestly Meryl, it gets really serious and dramatic...I'm totally obsessed with it right now, so you should at least try and get through about 10 episodes or so to get into it...then see what you think. From what it looks like, it's going to be well, well over 100 episodes. But unlike DBZ, that's an excellent thing, because there aren't any bad episodes. They've fixed most of their mistakes from the first arch, and things are really looking good now. The main mistake they had with the Kakashi and students vs. Zabuza fight was the 5 minute recap at the beginning of all the eps, but lately they've only been like 30 seconds max.

Heh, well it's not just the "Sexy no Jutsu" that didn't appeal to me.

It was the episodes overall. I saw the first episode and second episode, but then it got to that...kid prince or something and it didn't seem interesting at all. The way I work is, if it doesn't appeal to me by the second or third episode (and first, in come cases), then I don't continue the series. I'll take your suggestion and try to watch a few more, but I have to pay for my fansubs so it's gonna cost me.

And yea I guess if you have to pay for it you shouldn't take the chance and get them...but didn't you like when Naruto used the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu to save Iruka-Sensei? I thought that was awesome...

I am unable to download my animes, so I have to get them off Ebay. The usual seller I buy from charges an arm and a leg, so I only get 3 episodes of the different series I want to try out. That's why I've only seen 1-3 of Naruto.

If that is the move, then it was pretty cool, but that's a move that ninjas are expected to learn, so it wasn't such a surprise to me.

And Meryl: Just wait, he combo's it up and uses it in surprising ways later on...and actually, in Naruto, it's not supposed to be used at all. It's a forbidden Jutsu. And plus, since Naruto wasn't even a Genin (low-level ninja) he DEFINITELY shouldn't have been able to use it. Yea, he wasn't even a ninja when he used it. That's why it's so awesome

Of course, it's kinda a no-brainer that he'd would be able to perform that move since he is the main star of the series and is "special".

Another surprising thing about this series. Sasuke is pretty much the main character so far through 38 episodes. I expect Naruto to become more important, but right now he's behind Sasuke.
