Take Two Interactive is facing some new lawsuits over their Grad Theft Auto series, made by Take Two's Rockstar Games studios.

The First suit comes from the family of one of the victims of two teenage boys who fired a rifle into traffic on a highway in Tennesee. The boys claimed they were inspired by the sniper mode in Grand Theft Auto. The shooters killed one person, and injured another.

The family of one of the victims has now filed suit against Take Two Interactive over the boys' shootings.

The other new lawsuit comes from a graffiti artist who claims Rockstar used his grafitti without his permission in their Grand Theft Auto games.

The graffiti artsit, known as Daze, claims that Rockstar used his artwork as some of the grafitti seen in the recent PlayStation 2 games Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto Vice City.

Now, I think those kids are idiots...... thats all, its the parent's fault that they didn't teach them whats right and wrong.

As for DAZE......what an a/hole. I mean he just wants to make money out of it.

I even heard...the EX OLD WCW Wrestler "MAXX PAYNEE" is sueing Rockstar too, for using his name to publicity. YEAH, thats what ROCKSTAR needs, an X pathetic Wrestler to "UP" the sales for a game.

I'm going to have to agree with you. Grand Theft Auto had nothing to do with these kids going out and doing something like that. The blame should fall on the parents and the parents alone. What it comes down to is, the parents know they didn't raise their kids right and they are looking for a scapegoat. And as we've seen many times before, whether it's movies, games or TV..........it's never the parents fault, when something like this happens, it's gotta be somebody elses. I don't even understand how cases like this could even be seriously considered by the courts for more than one second.

I most definitly agree with you, it is the parents responcibility to know what their kids and playing and making them understand the rights and wrongs of life. As for Daze like you said he is just money hungry. But when he does go to trial the real task is going to be for him to prove that he is the first and original person to create that item and being that he doesnt have a copy right on it or patient it isnt going to get him very far.

i agree with you all... and just for the record.. how old were these boys?? I mean good lord.. i am 19 and i think about going on gta style rampage every time i go downtown and see all the people and aggrivating drivers... but my mommy told me that was wrong and she would kick my ass.

And another thing... i hate how games get the bad rap for anything that happens... The police or investigator shows up at their house... "omg.. he listens to marilyn manson.. omg they played doom." So automatically they put the blame on those mediums... what utter bullshit! I cant believe that they are so blinded to blame entertainment for the shortcummings of parents... Oh well thats my rant for right now.
