got the name from my favorite classic shooter, gradius.

hmm... the "old" (ie. original) reason for "the_artist" was that I was just devoid of imagination whilst playing Half-Life on the Internet. The thought pattern went something like "I'm getting killed a lot, aren't I? I can make this easier on myself if I use a name of someone who i'm not to bothered about getting shot." Take that Prince.

It developed a little more from there thankfully ^_^ ... Now it's either a homage to one of my (bizarely) favorite Video Game Characters; Relm Arrowny, the 10 year old Artist girl (who reportadly swears like a salior in the original Japanese translations of FF6) ... Or a reference through "artist" to skill and stuff. Only trouble is, "the" makes it seem like i'm being a little self indulgent. And as for the underscore: Learn to use the space-bar!

Well most of these I already know as this thread has been done before!!!

But anyways.... Piggle Humsy originated from a three year old!
Who @ the time was pondering a name for one of her toys...
I have no idea how she managed to come up with such an original name..as normally kids cant think on their own!

Well I liked it so much I asked her permission if I could use it and it's stuck ever since! I use it for almost everything nowadays!

Imagine it... *Do you take miss piggle humsy to be your lawfully wedded wife....*

So that's where it came from!
