Alright folks, I got this game hour and a half ago.

I just felt, like, all games should be released on that price

I won my first tournament and went up to 6th Kyu in about 45 minutes that I played it. Of course, that doesn't mean shit, but well, I just loved QUEST mode, I think it is ten times better than Kumite, it keeps all the goodness from Kumite but then adds much more fun with the missions and prizes and stuff.

It was a very good buy, indeed, only thing, I think the new characters suck, although I haven't used them so I can't say much about them, just my first impression.

Well, hopefully, my next buy will be Soul Calibur 2 for X Box or Game Cube.

it's been a great month for gamers..still got Soul Calibur 2 to look forward too.

Went I went to EB, they only had 6 copies. I was fortunate to get one.

Just keep checking everyday, or as often as you can. If you live in america you can even oreder it online from Wal Mart for 19 and something bucks.

Oh and do the training for easy money to use at the shop in quest mode. ...easy money

has anyone encountered that Chibits character yet?

I got owned in the finals by him at the event square..i was doing that extra wall damage tournament..

i beat him one round though..

nope havent fight chibita yet, but i watched some of his matches on the replay mode, that guy is just sick...

so far my rank, 1st Dan with Jacky.

im also trying to master goh, havent tried him yet on quest though.

yeah Chibita has some crazy skills. I couldn't land a down attack on him at all..

his character is all tricked out too. He looks alot diffrent than in the replay file.

I knew i was in trouble right when i saw him..

then i looked up at his rank and it's all "Champion".

Dude, waht are the orbs for? I had once a white orb, but some Aoi bitch stole it from me. I've beaten several characters who have orbs, but I don't get them anyway, and I don't remember how did I get that orb on the first place

(I know htat I did not buy it)

Eh, I'm still mastering Akira, I've reached 6th dan, just like I did when I had VF4 about a year ago, there's some techniques of him that just don't seem to come out easily, at all.

i don't really know what the orbs do. I had a theory though..like get an orb and more items would show up. (question marks turn into items>?) but after i won that red orb nothing happened. So that theory got thrown out the window..

dude that sucks, i haven't had anyone take my orbs away.

I had a few symbols of mine stolen though. (from the fighters i won them from, then i won them back)

I'm at 8th Dan with Brad. (sarah is next)
I went up from 6th to 8th at the arcade after Club Sega. Still working on completeing all the quest orders for that place. Everytime i complete one another one shows up.

there's one that's gonna take forever..i think it's something like.."Defeat Kage with a 4th Dan Rank or higher..5 times!" or something out of hand like that.

It does suck, but I remember that she had a green orb on her, maybe you can only steal orbs from others when you have at least one on you. I can buy the white orb, I guess that'll do.

Oh, and I don't know if you were the one that saidit a while ago, but "Goh" looks like shit. He looks like if they made him out of other characters' scrap or something... all gray and shitty. I don't like that fool.

BTW, which character is Chibita?

It took me a damn long while to get from 6th Dan to 7th, but then from 7th to 8th it was only like 5 matches apart. How does the ranking work? Is it random, or does the CPU study your moves and decides when you are ready?

i think you gotta fight like so many people with an equal or higher rank than you. Then after a few victories, when you fight someone with the same rank the Rank Match begins. I don't know for sure though..but the same thing happen to me. I went from 6th to 8th dan real quick.

i wish i could post a pic of my character.

I usually use the first player Brad Burns.

I got the red shingaurds, mohawk ,nose ring that connects to his ear with little skulls on it, and black tanktop.

He looks like a totally diffrent character than from when i started out.

Now I got a little tired from Akira, actually I had never played Kumite with other character than him, and now I'm playing with Sarah in Quest mode. She rocks!

I've been playing with her just for a few days and I already got a decent progress. And with her I got to collect 4 orbs. I think it's the same orbs you mentioned, Digi.

I also noticed that whenever I begin using a new move with frequence (and success), a rank match comes up.

Also, isn't there a different way to use the 2P palette swap using 1P ?

hold start when highlighting the character you want to change costumes.

i finally started playing this game again. Got the blue orb last night from an 8th Dan Brad Burns.

Has anyone played that seasaw tournament..there's nothing but destroyers,slayers and protectors in there..
