What would you do discovering that your best friends are cheating on you? Or even your loved ones? Would you be able to forgive them or would you more likely be angry with them for the rest of your life?

In these situations is really better to forgive or is it better to close a chapter of your life and nt have relationships with the guilty persons anymore?

I probably wouldn't be able to forgive them, if the things they've done to me are really evil and cruel, but I would give them a second chance if they're really close friends and if it's nothing so terrible to bear.

I Very Much Like The Sentence. "FORGIVE AND FORGET" And .............. Although Some Times I Can Forgive, Its Really Hard To Forget. And There Are Times When I Havnt Forgiven Nor Forgotten (Infact Learned A Lesson From It And Made Sure, I Wont Fall For Anything So Stupid)

Like I Said Before, I Like The Sentence "Forgive And Forget". Its Really Hard For Me To Do. Damn. But In The End I Do Forgive (ALWAYS) And I At Times Hate That About Me.

If they are my close friends I may be able to forgive. I'm such a softie really. I can hardly ever say no to anyone that asks for help. But on the other hand if they had continusaly did evil things behind my back and didn't care I don't think I would be able to forgive them. I guess....

If my friends did something bad I think I could forgive and forget.

But if the one I loved did a horrible thing, I'd close the chapter.

If my family did something bad I think it would take a while to forgive and even longer to forget.

Don't get me wrong. I think that it'd hurt a lot more coming from my family. That's why it'd take longer or be closed.

In the end I never hate anyone and in the end I do forgive everyone.
Maybe something would be closed but that doesn't mean that at the end of the day I wouldn't forgive them.

Everything has it's limits. Up to certain point I am very forgiving and even forgetting. But there are some things that..... just think about it, if they do something way too terrible to you, they don't deserve to be called your "friends" or "lovers", thus, they deserve not to be forgiven. If I had a girlf friend and she cheated on me, I would really send her to hell, I don't care (send her to hell just in words, not actually killing her or anything crazy )

If some one that's supposed to be your lover cheats on you, it just means it's the wrong person. If some one really loves you, she/he will never cheat on you. Otherwise is false love.

Now, regarding friendships........ I could forgive almost everything, except, that my gf cheated to me with my best friend, (they, as I said, would not deserve such titles) or if they hitted or hurt my mom or something like that

Otherwise I may forgive them even if they brake my teeth, my arm......

i can forgive...not easily tho...someone has to ask for my forgiveness before ill give it. except for my buddy...we forgive each other whenever we piss each other off....one time i punched him right in the face cause he pissed me off...he forgave me

Its hard to tell, I guess it really depends on what they did to me and how close a friend we were in the first place, if I could forgive them or not :confuse:

If I did forgive them though I think the friendship won't be as strong as it was before and I'll find it hard to forget about what they did even if I wanted to do, because in the back of my mind I'll still remember and will wonder if they'll do it again or not?

I'm giving an opposite answer: I would be able to forget maybe, but not forgive. This means I can forget the reason for my anger, I can forget the single mistake, but I'll never forgive the person, even if it's a close one, if the thing he/she did was really cruel or I feel hurt.
