Yes. that was the guy who did Jet, Frieza's va did Genki's voice, Yamcha's did Yusuke, I believe Kaoru is Melfina from Outlaw Star, and I believe Yahiko is Jim Hawking from Outlaw Star. I know the first three are accurate, but I don't know about the last two and the guy that did Jet's voice was the narrator in Outlaw Star.

Meryl, the episode I was talking about was somewhere around episode 48 I believe. Are there any other left handed swordsmen in the show?

Thanks for the info. I knew that the same guy who did Jet's voice was the narrator for Outlaw Star. I had no clue that Yusuke was done by the same person who did Yamcha. Maybe it's beause Yusuke is a boy and Yamcha is an adult.

Thanks for clarifying it up.

Episode 48 is that monk guy, Anji and he doesn't use swords. And this is during the Kyoto Arc, which none of the guys uses wind attacks. I don't remember if there's any left-handed swordsman (O_O;;; ) but I think you could be talking about Raijuta. He's tall, big...dealt with that boy Yuutaro (the spoiled wealthy kid). This is around Episode 20/21 I think, still in the Tokyo Arc. Sorry if this isn't the guy.

It might have been more like a shcokwave, but don't worry about it I'm sure I'll figure it out when they get to that episode I'm talking about. I saw episodes 2, 6, and 7 this past weekend subtitled at a friend's house. I kinda like the english voices a little better, but I eventually got used to the japanese voices. So, tomroow and tuesday I'll find out how much they've cut those two episodes.

Why do you people worry about it being butchered on Cartoon Network, the only people that will dislike it because they don't see the good stuff will be little ignorant people who just watch CN and thats all. There are probaly a lot of people that want to see the series but they can't see it on PC cause they have 56K or something. So it works out for the best, everyone gets in on the action. I so far have thought it has been good, I can tell they are cutting stuff out, and a lot but it doesn't bother me. Once I can afford the box-set I will be getting it and I won't have to watch CN for it.

BTW, what they did with the blood is just gay. When that one other man slayer in like episode 6 cuts Kenshin's are with his sword, it bleeds a little at first. But then once they zoom in on it, it looks like it is just bruising around it. But they do bleed a little, but not much at all.

Yeah, but it's still cool to watch it on tv and when I get money for the dvd boxed sets I too won't have to watch cn for it. I've already seen some episodes unedited.

This is to clear up my confusion.

Today on Kenshin was the first episode I saw and I figured out what kind of attack it was. It was the Raijuta fight and his tchnique, which was a vacuum like thing but isn't that kinda like wind or would be more of a shockwave type attack? SO, that means the Saihto fight is only a few episodes away, I wasn't able to notice anything they cut out today but I'm sure we'll see something when he fights Saihto.

Wait until Saitoh uses his succession technique for the first time... That will be an editing disaster.

Oh yeah, taht'll be brutal. I can't believe it's earlier than I thought, guess that means there's lots more after Shishio.

Okay, now I'm confused.
ssj: Did you mean that you saw the Raijuta part on TV or unedited? Because the Raijuta part is kinda far away and I thought they only were up to maybe...the Oniwanbanshu part? Don't tell me they skipped episodes!

Nah Meryl, I'm just saying that it's going to be horribly edited when Saitoh uses the Zero Gatotsu...because it totally obliterates that turtle shell dude (sorry, can't remember his name).

Ah yeah, Suzuki, I know what you mean. I caught today's episode and it's that Express train one, "Terror on the Express" or something like that. Nothing seemed to be edited on this episode. It'll be obvious when the Kyoto-hen comes along....just have to wait for that to see all the great parts get cut out.

I had seen the Raijuta episode before yesterday unedited on DVD. It was at a movie night something I'm apart of had and someone had a couple of Kenshin DVDs. How much further til Saitoh? I didn't see today's episode because I had bowling, wish I could have seen it.

Oh, okay thanks for clarifying it up, ssj.

For you, the Saitou part should be coming up soon after Raijuta. But on TV, I believe there's still a long way to go.

Angry Kenshin's run cut short ??

i just copy and pasted this news from gamefaqs toonami board.

Quote:
Starting April 24th, CN will be starting Kenshin over from "Handsome Swordsman of Legend."

Something must have happened, because the run ends conveniently at the Kyoto arc.

There are a couple of possible reasons why:

#1: The BS&P caught on to the things WS was leaving in.

BS&P: Bureau of Standards and Procedures.
They say what can and cannot be shown on television.

WS: Williams Street.
They edit the shows CN airs so they can be shown on TV.

#2: Certain Kyoto episodes became impossible to edit around.
#3: Cartoon Network is waiting to air the Kyoto arc later on. (doubtful)

That means there are only 7 new episodes left:

#22: DANGER ON A RUNAWAY LOCAMOTIVE
#23: SANOSUKE'S BETRAYAL: The Fateful Reunion
#24: MIDNIGHT BATTLE: Sanosuke Versus Kenshin Revisited
#25: CRIMSON PIRATE: Kenshin and Kaoru Seperated!
#26: LIGHTNING INCARNATE: Noble and Mysterious Female Pirate Shura
#27: BURN, ISLAND OF TERROR
#28: PRELUDE TO THE IMPENDING FIGHT: Shadow of the Wolf Draws Near

crap i want to see the kyoto arc damn it !! im new to kenshin but ive heared many fans said this is where series really picks up.

i really hope this isnt true maybe they want to stretch this series as long as possible, like what they did to dbz..

Nooooo!!! I sure hope that's not the case, I hated how they stretched out DBZ just to get it going longer. So, does that mean they won't be showing the Saitou fight? I really wanted to see that again.
