final fantasy x
I dont know why so many people are saying they hated ffx . I thought it was a great game with a deep and heart touching storyline. The battles got kind of boring but I could deal with that. Plz give me a reply and tell me what you think.

Um...okay...
Yes, the battles were kinda boring, but, this time, I think the gameplay was designed to bring in a new set of gamers, like my gf, into the world of us RPGamers. The gameplay and graphics where great, soundtrack was amazing (thanks to my hero Nobou Uematsu), and story was supurb. The sphere grid is nice too, but I would have liked a little more customization. Example: Tidus learning Black Magic Yuna and Lulu learning some physical abilities Rikku learning White Magic Ah well, still a great RPG.

yea yea your right it would be pretty cool if Lulu could learn some physical atttacks instead of that stupid doll runing up and smacking the opponent . I loved ffx but ffx-2 was kinda weird i think they should have made it more like ffx instead of the missions and crap like % completed gets you a better ending. When i beat ffx i was kinda sad because tidus disapeared and Yuna was all emotional, then when x-2 came out i beat it once just trying to get threw the game to see what happens and i got the normal ending.

I loved FFX and X-2. I was not a fan of the sphere grid. It was a cool idea but it got kind of boring and annoying. Everything else though was great. I really liked how they brought jobs back from ff5 in X-2 too. While they didnt match up to 6 which I personally think the greatest game that the series ever came out with, they were still solid games with good music, a good storyline, a good vibe and after that everything else like graphics was seconday. My only problem was that by the time i actually fought the bosses i was so strong it was too easy. I spent way too much time in the monster arena. It got annoying because there were so many bosses, it took longer to get them on the battlefield than to kill them.

What I disliked the most about FFX, was the repetition of monster styles. Same blob, different color, etc... And the lack of a world map made the game feel a bit restricted. The sphere grid was great imo, no complaints there. Overall, I did enjoy the game, but just not as much as 7, 8, and 9. And I really, really, REALLY tried to get into FFX2. I guess it was too much "been there, done that". I gave it a good home at my local pawn shop.

Actually, I really quite liked FFX. If nothing else, the summon system, characters and plot (except for the dream bit, that was STUPID) are good.
