I don't really think it'd be fair if I judge since I've only played 2 of them which were FFVIII and FFX. About a good 3-4 months ago I just started getting into playing them since I never was too fond of RPG's..

But out of those 2 games my favorite characters would have to be Squall and Auron.

I like all of them but I like ff7, ff9, ff10, and ff10-2 the best. I recently baught ff11 but I haven't been able to play anything but the card game since I don't have the right graphics card to play but I think that I'm going to be getting that soon and in case anybody does play the card game alot than write me a private e-mail and I'll give you my name for when I'm on that way we can play a game together but don't be scared cause I lose every time anywho thats all for me except that my fav. character is squall from ff9 he is the best character ever.

squall is probably in ff8, I get them cunfused , especially when it's really late and I've been up for more than 16 hrs. , I must have been thinking of Zidane??? he's my other fav.

FF8 is definitely the best FF, no questions.

The later ones had better graphics but the stories were terrible! especially FF9 which was absolutely horrible (By comparison).

VII. Better story, better characters. I liked VI as a second choice. Older games are the ones I prefer. The new ones are cool, but they're like repetitions of the older ones from many points of view. On the other hand XI is so different I usually forget it is a FF game...

FF-10 is my favorite kuz it's the only one i really got into... the other one's just didn't get my attention as much

Thats cuz the old ones didnt have those flashy graphics and those exciting videos and songs (and voices in the recent ff's). But still, old ones are only good for its story and chars... as for me, i rather play ff8... good story, exc chars, and beautifull songs/movies

thats a very good question... some people go for the graphics i myself go for story...so my answer would have to be FFVII... nothing but good things came out of that game.....the materia is the best idea in the FF series....limit breaks where very well done, and the graphics in the movies
were defintly aceptable 4 ps one....and b4 i end i would have to say that FFVIII was the worst one i see yet....the black sheep of all Final Fantasies.. (junctioning what were they thinking )

FFVII, hands down. It has the most amazing storyline, the materia system is great, and you can really get attached to the characters in VII more than in others.

Most favourite FF game? Probably between FF7 & FF9, but in the end I like all of the ones, which I've played so far.
As for fave character it has to be Zidane, I like his uplifting happy type character.

My favourite Final Fantasy is number VII. It was the very first FF game and not to mention RPG I had ever played since getting a PSX a few months beforehand. I got hooked, very quickly. Loved the characters, loved the storyline and the gameplay. I played it constantly and never tired of it. Hurrah for FFVII.

IM tired of all these people saying "FF7 is the best!" Yeah i know its good but FF8 kicks its azz. The story was so serious and the junction system is awsome. And the best charactor would probably be RIKKU. She's so happy-go-lucky and carefree. Plus she is a thief. Thieves are the best(my opinion). And i also like Zell. He is soooooooooooo cool. I love his fist fighting tecnique. TEE-HEE

Ok first off Kaolla su is a man and very weird also hes neverd played 4,5,6 or even tacticics so dean I mean kaolla su but i think ff4 is the best like every one dies in that game even cid almost died but you find him later my second would be tactics good story and cloud was in as a special guest then i like ff7 ff8 was to much like watching all my children with warfare involved but its still no 4 for me i also think 10 1nd 10-2 had a terrible story (even though ten 2 had hot chicks the story ruined it)
