Do you think we will see a new system attempt to make it in the big world of consoles as the gaming industry grows? Since the gaming industry has takin off with a bang do you think we will se a new competitor to sony, nintendo and xbox that will make it into the main stream or will these three heavy weights smash its competition to nothing?

Infinium Lab's Phantom console may one day get released... I'm not sure how it'll do - I personally wouldn't pay for it, but it's a really interesting buisness model. You can never rule out the current giants meeting their downfall - 10 years ago we still had Sega and Atari, with Sony only just entering the fray and Nintendo king of it all.... however what is now different is that Sony and Microsoft aren't solely console manufacturers like the late Atari and Sega were... They have massive Electronics and Software industries to fall back on if ever their consoles fail. That is why, with Sony set to challenge Nintendo in their only other market (handheld consoles), the most likely change will be that the 3 big names in the console market, may become 2 big names whilst Nintendo goes the way of the Sega-Dodo

actually, only Sega did. Atari is just a name now... after the "64-bit" Jaguar died, they lost all their cash and were brought out by Hasbro (I don't think they used it much)... more recently, French publisher Infogrammes brought up the Atari name, and changed their company name to become "Atari". Hence why we still have software published by Atari (The Unreal series was until recently, Enter the Matrix was another)... it's not really Atari though, but Infogrammes.

That is a really complicated question,considering there hasnt been any word on any other consoles.Maybe sega might make a comeback and capture our hearts with the classic games on the dreamcast,or the makers of n-gage might make a console also,you never reall know.

I really doubt it, the competition is much more hostile nowadays, reacting on each others moves in split-seconds I don't think an outsider can make a decent buck the way it is now.
