Actually, Metal Gear Portable Ops for PSP will be a prequel (and sequel to MGS3 in a sense) of Metal Gear 1 which will detail the events leading up to Big Boss becoming the evil man we've all grown to love. Think Star Wars with Anakin turning to Darth Vader, except with Big Boss.

I saw the preiew! Holy Sheisse! Now I am sure I will buy a PSP. Just for that and for MGS Ac!d.

Now, did Big Boss ever become truly evil? Think of what The Boss was portrayed as after she died. (only Big Boss and Eva knew the truth about her)

It's not really redoing it(well maybe it is), but RTCW:Enemy Territory originally had a single player campaign, but it was supposedly too bad to be released so they just threw it out and instead only released the mp-campaign for free on the net(which is a huge cult-succes and truely an awesome game). I wish they would redo the sp-campaign and release it after all, cause it would be cool to play the mp-level single player style.
