Whoever found Tidus weak, either did not know how to use him, and never developed him either, by doing something as simple as using haste (or hastega) and then Delay Attack he can be everyone's daddy. I think he's strength relies on his excellent ability to support other characters. As for Kimarhi, I think they screwed up when they developed him, in the usage of his overdrives, since all of his abilities weren't that strong (even though they could be quite useful) I think they could have perfecly given him the option to use them as special skills, insted of having to wait to fill an entire overdrive gauge.

And hell, Yuna can be as strong as Lulu, and viceversa, if you teach them both black and white magic. There isn't really a character I would say its weak, although the one that comes to mind first is Kimhari, since I think he could have been developed better, without making him an overpowered character either.

By the way, I meant "Quick Hit" not "Delay attack" :B

This technique, combined with haste, can perfectly allow Tidus to perform 6 or 7 hits in a row, dealing big time damage if you've equiped him with a well customized sword. Of course, utilizing this technique with Auron is just morbid, although he won't be able to perform as many hits since his agility is not as high as Tidus'

In the beginning i only used Auron, Wakka, and Lulu, but then I realized that it can pay off big time to use Tidus and Yuna alot because Tidus can learn Haste and Slow, and if Yuna isn't used often the aeons don't get stronger, which are an extremely valuable weapon against bosses. By the way, Rikku is pretty much useless, except for her ability to use Al Bhed potions, which cure all status ailments and restores 2,000 HP of all characters, that's about all she's good for.

Thats not entirely true. You need her for bribe which you use to get very very valuable and rare items. And she is used for steel, and if you use her enough and level her up she can become pretty strong... But if your just gunna teach every character every ability and take all the chalage out of it... well then yeah, every character is useless.
