Who are the new characters in FFX-2?

Hiya everyone.
If u search for FFX-2 on Gamespot.com, u'll see three new characters, a fat man, a slim and tall one, and a women, all dressed in purple.
Do you reckon they are the new bad guys or something?
And when u look at the women, u know what? Her clothing reminded me of Seymour....

Also, anyon got ANY idea what the hell that palace rising out of the ground is about?

those are probably the new guys...
and the returning crew, yuna and rikku, etc.

I checked it out, and im kinda positive they are the bad guys.

Yes, I think those 3 are called the La Blanc or La Branc (not really sure). There are most likely one of the many political factions that have risen since the end of FFX, seeking to gain Yuna's support.

DragonSphere, you are right about the name of the 3 people "La Blanc", but its La Blanc Gang, so they mostly sound like bad guys to me.
