Next GTA...

I'm guessing that the next GTA has to be San Andreas. If you don't know what I'm talking about try playing the first GTA again.

I bet all you guys had a feeling of Deja Voux when you heard the names Liberty City and Vice City. Well there on the first GTA and the third city is San Andreas which could possibily be the next in the series.

thank you, thank you, thank you, ive been trying to rememebr the west coast inspired city in GTA for ages, i totally agree its next in line, then maybe London, and then i hope for a Vegas edition (lol, it will be like monoply, everything will have its own version)

I highly doubt they're gonna make GTA London again because when they made it b4 it was easy as all they did was add a few things form London like Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace and it really didn't matter, but now if they make it: -

A) It would take ages to make

B) If it's too violent it might get banned in London

and

C) If they did make it everyone in London would try and find their area and how disappointed would they be if it weren't there.

Ok, ok so they shouldn't expect that much but if the box says London what do you think will happen??

theyve just made the getaway which is based in london, although i think they worked on that for a few years... i wouldnt want to wait that long for GTA, plus the getaway is humongous

come on GTA Las Vegas

The Getaway looks awesome but I'm worried the gameplay won't be as good as GTA. Here's to hoping the missions and gameplay are excellent!!

yeah! you try to jump into the docks from your boat, miss, and drown! (although in VC, if you are not too far from the docks it places you straight on the docks if you hit the water) you should be able to swim, if my car falls into the water, I should be able to get out and swim back to shore!

yea it sucks!! when u jump out of your boat onto to land but while u jump u hit a bit of water u loose health, yea right that would happen!

I love GTA as much if not more than most, but do you guys just want another game that is the same in a different city w/ only a few add-ons? Dont get me wrong VC is a great game, but if they keep just changing cities, it will get old and turn into another "Army Men" series and no one wants that!!

I hope for either a whole new GTA4(which is more than likely), or *crosses fingers* GTA online. The series is great, but we need a fresh innovation like three before the series gets monotonous! Does anyone agree/disagree?

I wouldn't mind swimming, but sam houser of Rockstar says hes tired of all the e-mails he gets about swimming! He says it wasn't in the outlook for the games, "Would you really see a gangstar swimming?" I think he said that in Nov. EGM(not sure though)

it would look stupid to see a gangster swimming, but i want the guy to swim when the odd time u fall into the sea and u die its so fustrating

Good god yes! I hate falling in when i am doing a mission!!
I will never forget the first few times i was playing GTA3 and i alway flew off of that bridge in the red light district! Way too many times!!
If not swimming, re-spawn out of water and take half health out or something!

You guys all know how long it takes boats to get across water, right??

If you could swim from one dock to the next you'll be there for hours.

Maybe if you could just get out of the water if you're right next to the shore, but being able to sim long distances is just plain stupid!!

yes only small distances when u make a mistake or something, but who the hell would want to swim from on dock to the another BORING AND STUPID!!!!

you see, the newer GTA's focus on restraining your character to one place at the start of the game, thats why they are on islands ! If you have swimming long distances, you have no restraint! It's like giving you a seaplane and a maverick at the beginning. But you should not die when you touch water, its not like hes one of those weird alien dudes (whats that movie called again when the alien melt when they touch sea water?). That guys idea of getting of respawning on the latest dock with a hurt on your health is the best idea yet, swimming would be bad, maybe, you cant really say its bad or good, thats up to the developers to decide. But I pray to god that the next GTA doesnt see you dying when you go knee high in water
