I am indeed excited. It is one of the reasons I bought a PS2. Although I do really hope this time they really know how to make a DBZ game, unlike all of the other awsome pieces of crap Bandai made.

Are those cel sahded graphics? OR jsut the usual polygons? If so, they look a littel bit disappointing. (but just a little bit

) I'd love to see that Frieza actually transformed in the middle of the battle, not that he's selectable on each transformation, like it happened in previous DBZ games. Same for the saiyans, of course.

Yes the previous dbz games did suck.It would seem the anime has the potential to become a great great fighting game even one to rival street fighter and tekken, but it seems that the right developer hasnt gotten a hold of it yet.Hopefully infogrames makes the game more solid than it looks.

I just heard about this game last week, and I guess it looks alright; hopefully will be a lot better than DBGT: Final Bout. Though, it's a shame that the Buu saga wasn't included as well, at least from what I've read so far.

It is indeed sad to admit that they sucked. However, this does not mean this new one will. Too bad that Bandai is still involved. However, if you look at the graphics in these screenshots, you can notice that the grphics quality has been gretly improved, at least. We'll need to see how well the gameplay develops. This time they may have learned from past mistakes and give us a good game as the result.

It says different on numerous sites.On the infogrames site it shows a developer i never heard of before and on ign there is none.But if bandai is developing it again there is no way it will be good.

Gotta cast of characters for you DBZ heads

Goku
Vegeta
Piccillo
Gohan boy
Gohan Teen
Freiza
Radditz
Racoom
Android (not sure which one)

just to name a few-23 in total

*Seems like you can play in classic battles scenarios as an option
example
Goku vs Freiza on Namek
or play as young Gohan against the small clone Cells

*Theres also a way to learn skillz and give characters abilites but I don't know how this'll work.
*All the American voice actors are being rounded up for this so thats a plus
*you can hold a tournameny for the fighters-cool
*and yes Frozen- Cell shading
*four buttons (punch kick and chi blasts)
*meter for building up your gauges for super moves
*all charachters have their actual signature moves

The character list is great to, with Final Bout you didn't have a lot of them, some hidden though. But the chance to play with Teen and Boy Gohan is a great chance for me
