I need some saving help

I recently purchased Final Fantasy VII and I go liek maybe an hour intpo the game and i was searching fo ra save zone an di found one and when i hit th esave button it said no memory card, i'm playing this on my ps2 so does this mean i wont save regular ps games, do i need a regular MC

You can't use PS2 mem cards with PS1 games - totally different system of saving. PS2 games use Kb, PS1 games use 'blocks'.

You can transfer PS1 saves to a PS2 mem card for storage though.

You need to buy a PS1 memory card. They are pritty cheap. You need one for all PS1 games.

1st it colud be your memory card port because i was able to save ff7 on my playstation 2 memory card but not my friends some time it also depends on the brand of memory card
