Hey guys, I read in OPSM2 that FFX2 will be out in Europe around October/November time!
It seems a bit soon to me, especially when you consider how long FFX took to arrive!
But if a PS2 mag said that, it can't be far wrong, I mean, they'd get it in the neck for months if they falsely misleaded readers...
Anyway, here's hoping!

Are you joking? Magazines dont have to be accurate, they get a date, if the developer pushes it back, its not the magazines fault.

But I'm really looking forward to FFX-2, and that date seems ok to me

At best that can only be an estimate. Its impossible to tell when FFX-2 will get in PAL terriotories when it isn't even a finished game yet! Don't expect anything offical from Square Europe until it reaches the US (which has no offical date either).

Anyways, October / November is just about as optimistic as I've ever heard: use this formula for instant results! (may even work with other Squaresoft titles) :

- Expected Japanese Release Date : (March)
- Translation Time: + 6 to 9 months
- Expected American Release Date : September to December
- "SQE Sitting on ass pondering whether to Release Game Including in depth surveys about : a) your gender, b) your favorite colour and c) your pets name, time" [TM] : 3 months to 8 years
- PAL conversion time: + 2 months
- PAL Translations (italian, Spanish etc.) : + 2 months (ongoing through PAL conversion)
- Time to invite people to fill in at the Product Release Party: 1 month
- Time to Unscrew Old Pickle Jars: 1 month
- Time to answer "is teh unrelezid NTSC game being releas0zred in teh PAL territry?!" emails : 2 months
- Expected European Release: August 2004 to May 2012
- Expected Release of Apology for Shody Conversion: Never, though statements issued about how "it's teh widescreen>?!!!" or "consider yourselves lucky that you got a bonus CD full of beautiful Amano Art that you can't see unless you have eyes like superman" about 13 months after release

Only Joking ... it'll probably be about this time next year.

hahaha, hilarious! I can wait a year for this game, plenty of other games out there!
