I got to meet my heros!!!

Last weekend I was finally able to go to my first anime conventon. insidering the small state i live in, it wasn't huge, but i was able to meet two of my favorite voice actors. One, which is my all time fav, Doug Smith, the voice actor of Kintaro Oe from The Golned Boy, and one of the greatest drawers i ever saw. And then, I was able to talk with the ever so popular Tiffany Grant, the voice of Asuka Langley Sohru, who also did voices in the golden boy. I was able to get Doug to draw me a pic of Spike and Faye and I got one of his professional pics, which were of coarse, both signed, and i was able to get an autograph from tiff, who was very fun to talk to, especially when I was able to get her to say some of my favorite lines, the best was, "What is wrong with you? Are you Stupid!?" And I was able to get Douge to do some really awesome voices fro me as well. All in all, it was fun for me, an i wanted to tell the others about it. What sort of conventions have you been to, and who did you meet?

Hey, that's great CC. I wish I could see the pic that Smith drew for ya.

But anyway, I'm very glad you were able to go to an anime convention.

I haven't been to any...I'm pretty sure it'd be cool...but I can't.

Congrats CC! You shall post the pics of the signed drawings!

I'd like to go to conventions, but where I live we don't have many occasions of this genre, sadly!

THe same here as you two. But when there is something going on, like GBZ CCG events in which the voice actors of DBZ appear, I can't make it to it because I can't drive and I've got no money.
