ffx help!

I wonder if any of you can date back to the everea ( maybe mispelled ) battle. I seem to be able to get by everea, but after reaching the wedding ( w/o a save sphere ) i encounter the first group battle.. easy enough... then the 2nd battle seems to BE IMPOSSIBLE. With some machina, i have read in walkthroughs, it is wize to take out the flamethrowers, but after that, this damn robot, thrust kick ( out of the battle ) 2 of my charecters, b4 i can lay a finger on the damn thing, then im left with 1 member... my Hp's seem to be decent for the time i guess, auron being about 3200 and tidus at 2500 wakka at 2800 and Kal at around 3000 BUT I GET SCREWED EVERYTIME! Help plz?

I'll help you out kiddo !

There isn't a 'special' way to beat all the waves, but may I suggest that you use a Smoke Bomb or Dark Attack to blind the machina... this way, they wont be able to kick you out easily !

Thanks for the help, I finaly figured it out. Being stuck in the same spot for over 3 weeks.. whew! What a relief! I've escaped! I'm feeling pretty good about myself!
