Eminem Albulm
hmpff
Don't know if anybody cares but they just pushed his album release date for "The Eminem Show" to today! Just got it myslef and it came with a free dvd with some behind the scenes stuff which is pretty cool. The album itself is pretty good, don't think the guy can make a bad one! But then again, for people who get offended by him- every album is a bad one I guess. I rate albums by how many times I can play it over again from the beggining without getting sick of it. It gets 2 full rotations, which is great cause nowadays albums barely go through without you having to skip some boring tracks. |

I want to get the album as soon as I can, the Dream On rap remix seems cool and Without Me is a great song...I'm not a hardcore eminem fan though, although it sucks that alot of people hate him so much T_T

Is this the CD that you can't play on your computer? I heard they used some special "code" so you wouldn't be able to put it on you computer and then it would make its way onto Kazaa or something like that.

Yeah
People are turned off by him! It's a shame cause they miss out some intresting music. He has a track with his daughter Haley singing the hook sayin' "I think my dads goin craaazy!" It's way to catchy!lol |

As soon as I get a chance, I'm gonna buy it since I really like a lot of his songs and the way he portrays them in his videos.

hmm
Pipetender. I don't think I heard they did that. I'm not sure. The whole reason they pushed his album foward was cause the bootleggers where running away his business a wek in advance. I even had a few tracks before the album dropped. This time, we can thank the "burners" for the pushed up date.lol |

I am an Eminem nut. I even have the first album Infinity. I cant wait for this album. I bought it on Amazon.com, and am awaiting its arrival to my doorstep.
Bad thing is that i was at a mall in Buffalo NY, and i found it. I really wanted it, but so no purpose in buying it 2x. I bought Weezer's new cd Maladroit instead.(which is pretty good )

*sigh*
If this CD is one of those "LOCKED" ones, then I'm definitely not going to buy it, even though I enjoy his music. I'll just have to download it from somewhere...... I was looking forward to buying it too, but I've heard those "LOCKED" discs can't be played in computers, are pretty much un-playable in some CD players, and are of course locked against copying to MP3 format, which is the only way I listen to my music. Archiving my discs to MP3 format is the only logical way for me to listen to them..... edit ~ could someone plz tell me for sure if this is one of those kinds of discs....... |

I've only heard one song of it, which was on the radio. But My friend Wendy has it and she said it kicks...ass! I like Marshall!

Funny you say that Rufus
A lot of people I talk to feel the same. I just saw an interveiw with him on MTV and he was talkin' about growth in albums. I think the whole motivation behind Slim Shady and the MM LP was raw energy- the man had hate in his heart and he gave it to us through that. This album he's doing something else, I think he really wants people just to listen to him and not just hear him. He even has all his lyrics for the album in its cover, which is unheard of in this rap game. I'm with Makgsnake, I'm all partied out. I'm tired of hearing about how much more money the artist has than me and how many big booty chicks he pops crys with. Em comes along at a time that his album stands out, hottest thing out right now! |

Yes i noticed that... The lyrics arn't so harsh. It's like he let out all of his hate in the first lp's and now he jus' feels like rappin'...
