i think same thing as the greatest hits, were games have to sell a certain amout to be on the players choice.

Ok, thanks king_freak, I didnt know, becuase they havent done gamecube players choice in the U.K.

neither have the done a "platinum hits" range in Europe have they? (well, they'd have to try somthing a little different anyway, given that the Sony Europe Budget Brand is "Platinum"). The Silent Hill 3 in Europe first thing is potentially good, but It could just be yet another apology, either that:
1. Our version of the game is going to yet another shoddy conversion with big nasty borders.
2. For the crappy treatment we've got in the past.

Hope its the later, but who knows... Anyway, the release dates are weird for sure, but maybe they are censoring the US version... the UK does seem to let a lot more violence / stupidity into it's media, but that wouldn't explain why Japan are seemingly in the same boat...

I dont know about the "platunum hits"! all I know they just make ps2 games go down to £19.99 (platinum).

I think you're right artist, silent hill 3 is coming to us first becuase konami loves us!

I hate that too. It's happened to me many times before, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy X.

I envy all you gamers in Europe , you all are going to be the first in the world to experiance this game. It doesn't surprise me that Konami would release it in Europe first. Silent Hill 2, sold extremely well there.

I wish more people here (America) would play such games. But all my other friends just aren't interested in it... so I can't share plot themes and such. It sucks.
