Hello hello, I'm back!
Hi everyone, I'm back after 15+ days. I've been away from home for vacations. I've been to AUSTRALIA for more than one week and then to Switzerland to visit family members too. I'd like to post pics, but no scanner! I had a very nice time there, it was a shame to come back home! Hope you had good fun in the meantime, see you all around!

G-R-E-E-T to have you back Hylas. We cant afford to have one of our primary members away for too long, it leaves a void .
I hope you had a great trip, im overtly jealous that you get to travle to such amazing places and im stuck here in Ohio. But enough about me, welcome back Hylas..welcome back

Thanks for the "welcome back" replies! I've been planning this trip for so long that I wasn't even sure I could really go! I haven't had the time to post before leaving, I was too busy and I didn't have the time to sit in front of the PC and post a goodbye to all the people around here! But it's great to be back anyway, even if I was saddened when I had to take the plane to come back home *sigh* Guess you know how it feels, lol
NOTE: I've been to Australia and I haven't seen a single kangaroo.... can you believe it? |

welcome back Hylas, hope you enjoyed your time away of course (we did notice you'd gone... promise!), and hope you'll enjoy your time back here.
PS. IMO, it been a little lethargic around here anyway, what with peeps getting back to schools and stuff.

School and kangaroos are evil! But at least kangaroos are cute!

Nice to have you back, Hylas, it was three weeks ago i was posting on my friends pc in New Mexico, a very pretty place in itself. I bet you had a blast, one of the neat things about living where you do!! How far is Switzerland and Australia from your homeland, you live in Austria, right? I expect Australia is a ways away, its a beautiful, rugged country, as very much New Zealand is from all accounts, id love going to Switzerland and Australia, etc, etc ...

Welcome Back! I would have to say a school ran by Kangaroos wouldn't be evil. It would just be really weird. Would the school bus be a really really big Kangaroo?

Thanks all for the messages!
goodman, yes, Austria and Australia, despite the similarity in name (lol) are very distant. I had a very hard time with timezones and this stuff for this reason! And one week was too little time to get used to anything! I could only visit few places, mainly Sidney. I plan to visit New Zealand too someday, and obviously next time I want to see the kangaroos! As for Switzerland, it was sort of routine trip. Few hours to reach our relatives in Zürich, I also had my shopping day with my cousins and so on. Nothing interesting. Switzerland is a nice place to live: it's peaceful, clean, but boring! Especially for young people! Not that Austria is much better though... |

Nothing like traveling to distant lands. Traveling is one of the nicest things a person can do I may have the possibility to go to either Germany, Korea, or Japan in a few months.
Welcome back Hylas.

Welcome back, sounds like you had a pretty good time and would have had a better one if you had've stayed longer.

Woah, I saw this topic like 20 times and I never posted because I thought I did before...
Well, anyways welcome back hylas. I see you had a good time. I know someone that moved to Austrailia a while back. I doubt you saw him but if you saw a Brad Pitt look-alike walking down the streets that was probably him.
