Secret Items MGS3

I beat MGS3 on very easy and it gave me a few special items. Now I don't know how to start the next level, easy, with those items. I don't want to save over my file and have to do it all over either. Does anybody know how to advance in the game without loosing special items/camo/special stuff?

You won't lose your camo and facepaint just load the game you beat, I got a few cool items too: SAA and The patriot

Can I move on to the next level of dificulty with my special items, or do I have to beat the game on each level without them?

I was wondering about this too. I too started on Very Easy just to get the feel for the game, and now I want to play it again on Normal. I guess I'll just have to go without the Patriot.

i heard that if you shoot all the Keroton frogs until they break you unlock stealth cammo. to break the frog shoot it once, then wait for it to stop making noises. then you shoot it again...stops...and once more and it makes a click sound, which means that its broken. it does not explode like some people say.

Yo, so it's not like the first game where you just go on the next difficulty? Remember? Think back then. You beat the game, then when you start a new one, you would have the stealth camo or the bandana....or both. And I remember the more you beat the game, the more things happen like Snake in a tux throughout the game, and spiderman ninja.

there are easier way of getting the special items..

just get 0 alert in the game, you'll get the stealth camo.

nope. you have to go for a no kills, no alert and beat the game in less than 5 hours.

or you could do the easy way..

you have to capture this mytical animal called the tsutinoko and keep it alive till you finish the game.

you can capture the animal in The Fears area with a mouse trap. go away for a while and wait till you capture some thing. took me ages to capture that animal.

since you will loose all your items in the game, you will have to recapture it at the EVA water fall scene. it wont be hard to find it this time, you'll see the animal really close to the water fall.

acually you can get it just by captureing the tsuchinoko with a mouse trap instead of haveing to go and beat it with no kills or no alerts and all that none sence

you can catch it in the swamp area just kill everything to the south of the water where you enter then set mouse traps near that one trap that swings down thats all spiky you may have to wait a while but you can leave just remember to come back and check if you need more info just message me...
