Guest Summons

I didnt know about this till yesterday, but apparently since FFVII there have been "guest" summons which are basically characters/monsters from previous S gerneration Final Fantasy's.

Chupon was supposed to by Typhoon on FFVII
Gilgamesh on FFVIII
Atmos on FFIX
Magus Sisters on FFX

Now even though you probably all knew this I brought it up to discuss the possible guest summons for FFXII. From what i've read and heard most people beleive it will be the Dream Stooges (Larry, Moe and Curly from FFVI) which is good news hey Artist ^_^

Anyway your thoughts please.

I only knew that about the Magus Sisters. It also took me awhile to figure it out.

would Cactuar count as a guest summon, I'm not sure if he was in the series before FF8 when he was a summon.

there is a Cactuar island in FF7, but before that I think they were called "Cactrots" or somthing - so no they weren't brought in by FF8... but I possibly would say that Cactuars and Tonberries are guest summons as they aren't summons in any other games...

anyways I never really thought about it this way... you could even add Bahamut to the list as he was just a NPC that powered up your warriors to their improved classes in FF1....

oh and another that could possibly added to the list is Cait Sith: the FF6 summon that we know as "Stray" is called "Cait Sith" in the Japanese version - so though thats the opposite way around, Cait Sith in FF7 is a sort if "guest" summon

Edit: oops! a FF12 "guest" summon? I'd like to see Ultros rather than the Dream Stooges (gah! I'm just a stupid Octopus!)... or perhaps even Palom/Porom so they could do their Twin attacks on the enemy!
