well.. its late and i cant sleep... so.. i write.. heh

Would you give me one more chance...
a chance to make things right..
the thing i really want
is to be with you tonight
but you are long gone
and have forgotten about me
You didnt want it but you took it
my heart went when you left
My soul is now empty
my mind tries to forget
But the memories of you
are what keep me wanting more
through the echoes of my mind
and rousing my inner child
i want what i cant have
i lost it and cant get it back
no matter what i say
i'll never change your mind
Bury my feelings deep
and hide what is true
I cant talk like i once did
you just dont seem to care
i find myself in thought
more times than i really should
i try to be so happy
and end up worse than before
i think i've made progress
but have gone backwards
now i stay awake at nights
not knowing the reason why
but my subconcious knows
from myself i will hide

So many nostalgic feelings... The inner child, the sense of loneliness for being left by someone important, the wish to be happy, the impossibility to bring back the person you love that makes you feel powerless: there are many lines that I like in this poem/song!

A very good one! I read it many times, and everytime I like it more
